Good value for money, very decent except the restaurant staff at a couple restaurants.
We visited right before Christmas in 2024. We had a really good time. This resort is clean, semi-modern, decent food and beverages. Pros: Bartenders were amazing, housekeeping was great, food was better than a few resorts we have been to. Pools were great, entertainment was fabulous, RIU pool parties were fabulous. Cons: Service staff (not the kitchen/buffet) at La Baja California is very mean, and they couldn't give two f*#ks about anyone. Rude, ignorant, unhappy, unfriendly - like someone is forcing them to be there. They are either underpaid or over worked. El Torote staff is the same. Just ignorant. Service was poor at the restaurants. Overall a great experience minus the arrogant servers across all restaurants. Great value for money.

I was impressed with Riu Santa Fe
This trip was a bit impulsive- a Christmas present for my wife so that we could get away to somewhere warm. I booked the trip, and then read some scathing reviews online. “The food wasn’t great” or “the service wasn’t good.” This wasn’t my experience however. At an all-inclusive experience you’ll always find a buffet or two. It’s a buffet. The sit-down restaurants were very good and the service was excellent all across the board. This all being said, it is important to note that there are some serious parties at the Riu Santa Fe. The population/demographic that was most present at the resort was 20-40. If this is your scene then great. If not, be warned. There was more than one occasion where I could hear some ruckus outside until very late into the night/early in the morning. I (25M) did have the opportunity to visit one of these parties and had a good time. The beach isn’t private, so expect to have people approach you selling their goods, and to have to walk past a couple of stalls on your way to the surf. All in all, my experience at the Rui Santa Fe was enjoyable and when I return to Cabo, the Rui will be the top of my list of places to stay.

Overall, Decent for the value
Couples trip for my fiancé and I in December. Overall a good experience, newly renovated. Rooms were nice, pools were nice, restaurants were nice. Food was nothing to write home about but still decent. Definitely a younger crowd and can be a bit of a party spot. The doors in the buildings close extremely hard and are very loud, was woken up almost every night from either people being loud in the hallways or doors slamming. Air conditioner in our room was also extremely loud and woke us up every time it kicked in. Service was excellent by all employees.

Worst all inclusive EVER!!!
Riu Sante Fe…the Walmart of all Inclusive. What… that’s an I silt to Walmart. Riu Sante Fe…the Dollar General of all inclusive. I have been all over the world and this is by far the worst vacation experience I’ve had. They put us in a building that is 15 minute walk to the “restaurant” section. That’s in quotes because the food is discussing. The burgers are pink. Not because they’re rare- they are a salmon color throughout. Our room is on the fourth floor of the farthest building WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR!!! A friend we met her has a family of four and they put them in a room with two twin beds. If you can afford any place else, go there!!! If this is all you can afford- I suggest you opt for a staycation and use the money to enjoy wherever it is you are from. Run, run, run from this place!!!
