Great hotel
We just got back form a week long stay at RV for the first time. I have been going to Negril for 30 years, but have never stayed here but I knew people liked the hotel and decided to try it bc Sunwing offered it. Our room was basic but just fine and clean, and the cleaning staff (shout out to Donna who is just so lovely) were excellent, and any issue we had the staff worked to resolve quickly. Heads up that even if you book through Sunwing, the hotel requests a $300 USD room deposit on arrival, which we were unaware of- it caught us by surprise and does not typically happen with Sunwing vacation hotels (Ive had a CC number requested, but never a cash deposit so if you are on a budget you should be prepared for this. RV is new to Sunwing so they did not seem to know the typical procedures and how it differs from guests who book directly with the hotel). Big shout out to Duran the beach life guard who was excellent! He kept everyone on the beach happy and was friendly and helpful. The other beach staff were not nearly as good and the one day Duran was not there the beach was not run nearly as well. Food at hotel was expensive but good, all servers were lovely. We will def be back!

Beautiful resort with amazing staff
I had the best time ever. The food is very good. The grounds are meticulously maintained and kept secure. Solo travel or with friends and or family this place is perfect. Duran the beach/towel guy will look after all of your beach needs even the ones you didn't know you had.

Rondel is beach, sun and food
Beautiful beachside resort. We stayed on the beach side and enjoyed the 30 steps to the ocean from the restaurant terrace and bar. Great beach staff Duran was always happy and helpful. The service and kitchen Chef created yummy and beautiful dishes. We eat breakfast and dinner most days at Rondel. We learnt to split the meals as portions are good. Lobster Alfredo, Jerk chicken and Spaghetti Meat pasta all amazing. Negril is full of activities, beach has many locals who are fun and creative. Fresh juice with Ricky, Patty Man stops by for lunch, great local music played close by in the daytime. On Friday and Saturday nights there is Reggae close by, it's loud and authentic Jamaican.... ya mon, respect the vibe. The resort is safe and clean with in room fridge, AC and Safe. It's cozy place for those who enjoy authentic Jamaica, stop by the HiLo supermarket and stock up. We really enjoyed my 1st time at Rondel.

Home away from home
We had a party of over 20 friends and family that all stayed at this place. The villas were clean and comfortable. Delroy, Duran, Andre, and Lamara were the best! In fact, all of the staff was great! The pools were clean, and if a few leaves fell in, they were there to clean immediately. My family and I cooked some days and the kitchen was fully supplied. The beach was swept daily of debris. The food was cooked to order, so we didn't mind the wait. The owner came out and gave us the history of the resort. I will recommend this place!

An enchanting place to stay with the most amazing stagf x
This lil' boutique hotel is the most delightful place to stay in Negril. It's a gem on 7 Mile Beach where some seem corporate, as opposed to hear where it's quaint and quirky. Reception staff are wonderfully professional, kind and helpful. Security/maintenance/housekeeping staff are all friendly. The room I stayed in (nestled in lush gardens with plenty of interesting wild life) was immaculate, fruity, comfortable and spacious. I asked for a kettle and one appeared. There were a couple of small hiccups room-wise, which staff swiftly sorted and no further issues were had. The hotel leads straight on to the glorious beach from the bar which is fun (ask the bar keep to make you a Dirty Banana cocktail, they are something else). Breakfast was delish. I tried almost everything and liked it all. Appreciation to the chef and waiting staff. The chef was a bit late the first morning, so the waitress kindly whipped me up some eggs and French toast. Superb. There is the nightclub almost next door, which was v loud... so plug those ears if you don't want to join in. All staff are immensely professional, kind, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. A glorious experience and big thanks to everyone there x
