Happy Experience
Colorful low rise older complex on the ocean. Nice landscaping, friendly, helpful staff. Attention is paid to cleanliness and food safety. Family oriented, but adult spaces/ pool too. Generally average food, but lots of variety, so you can always find things you like. Signing up for one of the 5 speciality restaurants is a bit of a hassle and some of the beach and pool lounges are uncomfortable and have to be grabbed early. Despite this, we enjoyed and would come again!

Worst resort
This is the WORST resort ever literally go anywhere else, I cant even begin to describe how incredibly rude the staff was to my mom and I it almost seemed like they enjoyed being rude and unhelpful the place was also dirty, food wasn’t the best at all, super close to the main road not a lot of security to the resort super open. Save your time and money and go somewhere else

Disappointed - 2nd visit
I notice they took "Royal" from their name. Beach and pools are great. However, the resort (rooms and restaurants) is "tired", needs revamping, food mediocre, the "a la carte" resto system is ridiculous as you can only book a restaurant on the day of and at 8am, by 8:10 it's "sold out". There should be more option of wine, not just red or white. Food is mediocre at best. The "theme restaurants" should serve food that is actually from that country - the "JapJap" has nothing that is really japanese, nor is the "Thai".... sad

Not bad but not good.
The resort is what it is - 3 stars. Its not bad but its not good either. Most of the complaints in the other reviews are valid. We had a fun time but it's definitely a budget vacation resort. Food is mediocre and bland. The app didn't work for us and the popular a la cartes were all booked by 830 am. We ended up eating outside the resort twice. Rooms are fine. There are mini fridges but they are not stocked (never had this issue before, fridges are always stocked with beer, pop, etc.at other resorts. What is the point of the fridge then?) No coffee pot in the room either. Coffee stations were always out of coffee as well. Nightly shows were meh. Hot water in the shower was hit and miss. The beach is awesome and the staff were great. It wasn't a horrible vacation but I would definitely spend the extra money and go somewhere else next time in Puerto Vallarta.

One of the best Resorts in all of Mexico , Best value for your dollar
This is our 19 TH time going to now called Grand Decameron Complex Buceiras Mexico . They have some amazing changes , Buy painting all the buildings a nice neutral colour it really improves the beautiful grounds and flowers and palm trees . When you are at the resort it’s like your in Hawaii. They have also improved the buffets and a la cart restaurants . The staff are all amazing , if you have a problem they do the best to fix any problems , all you have to do is ask ! We are returning March 6 T H 2025 for another 2 Weeks , This will be our 20 TH time returning to our favourite resort. Glen and Deborah Evans
