Not a good place to spend for a nice vacation
First of all, the food in the buffet is really poor. You can’t even get a cup of hot coffee, no matter how long we were here for. There was no listing of the daily activities. You have to try to find out what they’re going to have @ sometimes the instructor doesn’t show. It is so iorganized. I would never return or recommend anyone to go here. Also, it’s very difficult to get a reservation at the specialty restaurants, particularly if you want to eat at a normal time not like 9 or 930 PM. my husband and I are staying here now and I already had to write this terrible review for it.

Very fun place
The place is excellent, super fun, and very comfortable. We loved the foam party with the entertainment team, especially Eduardo (Lalito), Matias, Dayana, Maggi, Michelle, and Eder—they are all amazing! Also, Melchor at the pool bar and Limber at Caribe are super helpful.

Beware
Absolutely terrible experience! Would not recommend booking with any of the Solaris resorts. Had a reservation for the Royal Solaris and when we got there they did not have a room for us without switching rooms several times during our stay. They then offered us an upgrade to the GR Solaris and talked up how wonderful it would be to have a balcony. So we went to the GR Solaris to check in for the second which took a little bit since there was a line and only one front desk person to start. We then get checked in and head up to our room to see a balcony that looks directly into another resort tower. No upgrade and no view. We then go back to the front desk for the third time and speak with AnaKaren who was not remotely helpful in anyway. She says they have no other rooms for us and there is nothing she can do. She ends up calling the Royal Solaris and they magically have our original room ready which is weird since they transferred us resorts. Keep in mind we have not eaten since early morning and had a long wait at immigration. Also when we were at the airport none of the phone numbers online work for Royal Solaris as we were trying to get transportation. After we eat we go and speak to the front desk and chat with Daniel who was extremely rude and did not want to assist in any way. He seemed annoyed that we were even there talking to him and lied about the managers name. AnaKaren is the manager but he gave a different name when asked and purely wanted to argue which just made the situation worse. To make matters worse since we were transferred hotels we are not in the system which means we cannot use the app for the resort which means we cannot make reservations to eat at restaurants or get a map of the resort since they do not have paper maps and you can ONLY make dinner reservations through the app. Overall a very disappointing and disorganized process. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.
