Great resort for the money. The staff were amazing and went out of their way so you could have a great experience. The beach is nice and there was plenty of space to relax (though I went off season). There were plenty of places to eat and a wide variety of food. I enjoyed the more traditional Dominican Food at the poolside snack bar. I worked with Sammy, and he did a great job making sure my stay was excellent.

Nov 20, 2024Not the greatest resort, won't be back.
First of all, Check In: There was 60 of us arriving at 10pm and we were all exhausted. There was only 2 people checking in guests and it took over an hour and we were 2nd in line. I've been emailing the resort for months in advance asking for an upgrade and did not reply until the day before saying to ask at front desk. Our turn to check in and I ask for an upgrade to diamond club and swim out, we were told nothing available. Found out after people never even asked got upgraded. No welcome drinks, no one to greet you, basically find your own way around. No one told us where to go for our room, no explanation for the app or tell us where certain restaurants and everything was. Food: The food is mediocre, if you can't get a reservation through the app you are stuck with the buffet and it's the same thing every night, very plain food. Jade restaurant was the best of all the places we eat, definitely recommend. Wasn't satisfied with any other a la carte restaurants. Room Service: Takes forever!! Waited over 3 hours both times we ordered it, and it was freezing cold, you never get what you order, it was always messed up somehow or forgot something. Tried calling guest services and room service on the phone and just rings forever and no one picks up. House Keeping: Now this one really pissed me off. The fact that they feel like they can just walk into your room without knocking is disrespectful. I was standing there naked and they walked in and I kept saying I'm not dressed don't come in. Multiple times this happened during the week. After that we put do not disturb and we made our own bed and got towels ourself. Soliciting on the beach: Not even on the beach but at the resort when your laying on the chairs between the beach and pool, we had about 10 people selling different stuff come up to us within 10 minutes. Almost wanted to put a no soliciting sign up. It's very annoying when your trying to enjoy the sun and get a tan. They shouldn't be allowed on the resort grounds. Entertainment: It was pretty good, they have activities for both adults and kids during the day by the pool and beach. At night they have shows and then there's a nightclub and a casino. Be careful around the nightclub and sports bar at night, they have locals coming in and selling drugs and offering to us every night, totally unacceptable. They even had a few in the nightclub be aggressive with guests, they shouldn't be allowed here at all. Wedding: The wedding we attended was beautiful, I have no complaints about this. From the ceremony to the reception, everything was great. Time spent with family and friends made this trip 10x better but I would never come back here again.

Beautiful, Wholesome, Organized, Respectful
Yeah I'll be going back again and again. The food is both delicious AND healthy. I lost a few pounds while stuffing myself every second of the day. They are organized, KIND, RESPECTFUL, WISE, and the way that they coexist with animals is beautiful 😍 We went on the Ocean Dr. Fish Spa with tour guide Pedro, and it was the best excursion of them all, even though the competition was BEYOND TOUGH. 0.01 points apart. I only picked the Ocean Spa as the best because I got to take a nap on a floatee on the ocean. Guys, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tip well to everyone that serves you. $1, $5, $10, $20, whatever you are able to do. They treat us like family, and we want them to want to treat us that way. They do their very best and always deliver the best, and our currency can go a long way. Make them want us there, the same way that they want us to want to be there. Let's love each other. Be careful buying stuff on the excursions 🤣 Things can be expensive, but it's helping them so it's good to contribute in some way. But, I spent an extra $800 on accident (bc I'm ditzy, NO ONE scammed me, I was just having too much fun. They tell you the cost before you pay so that you can decide), so....watch out. The World Mart is the best place to go. Price are 1/3 or 1/2 what they are on the excursions lol I should've focused on tipping They are SOOOO charming. Be careful. I'm now in love with a Haitian 😍😂

This was our first trip to the Dominican and so glad we stayed here! Everyone was so friendly and always spoke with a smile. Hunters steakhouse was amazing! Would absolutely say go Diamond Club! Huge shout out to our butler Nelson. He was fabulous and within the 4 days we were there he basically became family! Also Juan, Maria and Luisa at the DC bar were great! So personal and just over all awesome! Jose with guest services also rocked! Would speak to me by name everytime I saw him even though he was only in our building the first day we arrived. The beach was well kept and clean always. Liked there was the party pool then a quieter one too. The young ladies in the DC lounge were great too!

Really good as usual
Very good visit again (7th time). Great food and fantastic staff. Nelson (butler) very good and helped with all we needed. Renovations nearly complete, no real impact ro us though. Pool bar always entertaining, staff fantastic. Juan (from various restaurants) really nice and helpful. Lionel at Zen was good, as usual. Already booked or next trip. One negative, we don't ask for much / anything, please give us a rero with 1 bed when we arrive!
