This is definitely a higher level resort from the entertainment, food, service and accommodations. Don’t let the negative reviews swag your decision to book. There are activities scheduled every day for every age. Specialty restaurants are top notch for both the food and service. A bit of advice; if you experience a problem say something. If you try and call front desk and it’s busy (the staff are not just waiting for your call they are doing other duties) either try a different time or go to the front desk in person. You don’t like the food? I’m sure it’s not all bad, just because you don’t like one thing I’m sure you will find something you like. Bad service? Not likely here … you might encounter one or two that might be having a bad day but don’t paint all the staff with the same criticism. We had a five star (okay you naysayers - 4.95 stars) time. While we had a few minor issues they were handled professionally and quickly. Visit and see for yourself. ** when you write your review remember all of the good and don’t just focus on the one or two negatives. People actually use these reviews to plan their vacation and “your axe to grind” for whatever reason doesn’t help

The best place I’ve ever stayed
This resort is absolutely next level. Everything about it was surreal. I loved every minute and I’m definitely going to be returning. If you’re thinking of booking honestly just do it, it’s worth every penny. Everything from the beds, to the restaurants, to the pools were near to perfection. What a magical place.

Jade river
Eimos led us on the jade river swim! Such a pleasure to swim with the turtle and fish! He was so kind and informative! Snorkeling through the crystal clear waters of the cenote was so peaceful and relaxing! Approximately 40 minutes and shaded through the jungle river

Romantic boat tour highlight
Captain Ruben led our romantic boat tour and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The views were beautiful and we were offered some snacks and drinks on the boat. He was really funny! we don’t normally tip, but we thought that this was such a highlight experience at the end we ended up tipping. Thank you so much, Ruben!

Romance boat ride
This little trip was excellent. Short little boat ride through mangroves. We saw turtles, a bittern, yellow bellied sap sucker's, coatis and Rueben the guide was amazing. Not to miss. Champagne. And fruit tarts included. Music is very romantic. Is free for hotel guests.
