Totally charming resort
I booked the sandyport hotel for a short business trip only because it was half term and the big resorts on the island were unbookable. To say I fell on my feet is an understatement. What a completely charming little corner of the Bahamas away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely friendly staff, well appointed rooms overlooking the cute canal/beach area. The resort is mildly dated in a sort of island beachbum way but for me it only added to the experience! Lots of bars and shops within a 5-10 min walk in the sandyport area. Cute sandy pool with a chilled bar and a beach all around you.

Highly Recommend
Very welcoming, superb staff and very clean resort. Highly recommend to an individual or families traveling for vacation and or on business. Location is central on the island. Shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. Beaches are on property.

Nice Stay, but Could be Much Better
Stayed there Feb 1-8, with a friend. Had 2 bedrooms with lagoon view and full kitchen. Pros : Very quiet. Not many people there. Lagoon is calm and nice for swimming. Staff was friendly. Kitchen was well appointed. Shuttle ride to the grocery store on Mondays was nice Cons : The rooms were very outdated and need updates. Bathrooms had broken and moldy tile. The Frig was barely cooling. Fuse blew while using the microwave. There was another unit between our 2 bedrooms with just a locked door and every noise from that guest could be heard by us. Beach was unusable with seaweed and high road noise. Resort restaurant food was extremely expensive and small (18$ for 4 two-bite tacos) Nassau in general : Very expensive. Downtown seemed depressed and unkempt. Many storefronts were shuttered and in disarray, A few historical and cultural things worth visiting. Be sure to visit the Nassau historical society. Overall : I will not be returning to Nassau or this resort

Beautiful
Beautiful beach front view. Friendly and attentive staff all across the establishment. Cozy room for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. There is a lovely water jet tub along with a grand sized bed perfect for two. I had a really relaxing stay!!

GREAT VALENTINES!
Great experience. Room was always clean , workers were all nice , everything was amazing. I brought my girlfriend to the Bahamas to the first time and she really enjoyed it we even had conch fritters and daiquiri. The room was spotless there were no critters, no leaks and the WiFi was even good. I really enjoyed my stay and this resort is a really good one
