    New year stay

This hotel has great potential - it's located on a beautiful stretch of beach and boasts an excellent layout. However, it feels tired, and there were several inconsistencies during our stay. Our classic room was basic and worn, room servicing poor on occasion and the focus on fine dining advertised on their website is not representative of the reality in my opinion. We stayed over New Year, fully expecting it to be busy, but during the first few days, the hotel seemed unable to manage the number of guests. For example, lunch at the Flying Fish was chaotic, with guests scrambling for seats, enduring long wait times, and often being limited to a basic BBQ menu. The lunch buffets were small, and the promised "live stations" were rarely present. New years eve was brilliant both in terms of food and entertainment but on New Year's Day, the resort offered little in terms of activities and resort-wide celebrations. Overall, the food offerings were disappointing. Breakfast was limited and repetitive and as noted by other guests, there is a lack of food between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30/1:00 p.m which is not great for those with children. The food quality at lunch in flying fish was average at best with BBQ's, a lot of fried food and shortages or substitutions on the a la carte. For instance, an "open steak ciabatta" was served on half a hotdog roll. There was no chicken one day and surprisingly no ice cream anywhere except during evening meals (ice lollies were provided twice a day on the bike which my son loved!) Tipsy wasn't great and snacks advertised at the Rum Shack were rarely available. The evening champagne and canapés were underwhelming - essentially, you'd go to the bar for a glass of bubbly, and canapés were occasionally given if you asked- it is however held at the Aqua terra bar which has an amazing view. On a more positive note, evening meals in the à la carte restaurants were enjoyable, with good food and great service. The staff were overall good but a lot more attentive and friendly, after the guest numbers dropped later in our stay. In summary, while this hotel has incredible potential, it didn't meet our expectations during peak season with the associated price.

Fantastic staff great location excellent food

We’ve just had a lovely 10 day stay at Sea Breeze. The staff couldn’t have been better, particularly Erica and Joel from guest services. The food was great. The restaurants are lovely and the serving staff were brilliant. There were a few small issues but they were swiftly rectified by the staff. An amazing place to go. 10/10 will definitely be back

The superb Staff at this Hotel go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable from start to finish. The Hotel location is fantastic as well with the beach centre stage - there’s three pools, beachside bars, a gym, pool table , daytime and nighttime entertainment . What’s not to love?

Sea Breeze Beach House is an awesome property!!!!

My recent stay at Sea Breeze Beach Hotel was awesome! The General Manager Mr. Johnson and his staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. With the property being an all-inclusive I enjoyed the delectable food and drinks throughout my stay. Their location is perfect, close to major attractions like Oistins Fish Fry, the St. Lawrence Gap. This property has embraced Barbados as the birth place of rum, by having an actual Rum Shop on property for its guests. I would recommend anyone to stay at this beautiful property. Angela Daniel

Fantastic hotel - great staff - wonderful location!

We stayed for a week over New Year's at this wonderful hotel. First of all, the views are amazing, the hotel is clean and tidy and the layout is really good - it means that there is never too many people around as there are bars and restaurants all over the resort. Dominiq, Chesterfield and the whole team at the Flying Fish were attentive, friendly and went out of their way to serve everyone - they all work so hard. Darios and the water sports team work extremely hard - all day and into the evening from water sports to cleaning and tidying away the beds. Cothbert at the rum shoppe was really friendly - went out of his way on several occasions to get us the drinks we wanted. He was always happy to have a chat and made the best amaretto sours! The food was fantastic - such a variety of food every day - we liked the buffet as it had such a variety from pasta stations to salad bars and always plenty of meat and fish. Marcia who was on the omelette station most mornings was always happy to help, really friendly and cooked the BEST omelettes!
