Save your money don’t go. The only thing nice is the view.
Save your money and don’t go! The building is kind of decrepit and falling apart. It is really not in good shape at all. The staff is nice. Their English is mediocre. The food quality is not good at all and what’s worse is if you go down to the restaurant at 6 o’clock at night to have dinner you wait two hours to get your food if you go down for dinner like I tried to tonight at 7 o’clock, you’re on a two hour waiting list, For mediocre food. At every single restaurant. Concierge and hostel staff spend a lot of time trying to get you to sign up for their infinity club which they say is not a timeshare but they’re hard selling tactics and they’re inflating The cost of local excursions is not worth it. For example, a poolside cabana cost $100 a day . Poolside is very slippery. Clearly they have not made improvements in 30+ years , my husband fell twice and we’re not old people and we weren’t drinking. But we stuck to Straight beer or wine because mixed drinks are horrible. And if you ask for a bottle of wine, they charge $75 plus American. The basketball courts are closed. The theater is closed. Half the place is closed down for what they say is renovations and we’re staying here Christmas week you think during their busy holiday season that have the would have amenities that we were interested in open. For the $15,000 I spent for this vacation it was not worth it. I would’ve been better off with the Disney cruise. And I didn’t come with little kids. View from my room is decent. There’s a vacant lot next-door to us and the hotel next to that is apparently closed for renovations as well. We should’ve stayed at the adjacent Hilton. Internet is spotty at best honestly save your money and do not come here

Amazing entertainment and great food from Samurai
We have been to many resorts this year and we know which resorts has the best service/values. One of the best thing about Seadust was the entertainment team! We truly can feel how nice and genuine the staff members working there , especially Benjamin and Erwin, thanks to both of you for all the amazing work, also Izul and Gustavo. You guys are the dream team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff members of Restaurant Samurai, thank you as well ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No thank you
The room were just ok. Nice view but a bit Old. Bad smell from the toilet and the shower gets clogged so water goes out in the bathroom. Moisture in the shower. The toilet was always missing water in it so we had to had some so it can flush The employees were really nice and offer great service. We were a group of 7 people and 5 got food poisonning, vomit and diarrhea. So everyday of our vacation someone got sick including 2 children. The taste of food were ok but nobody wanted to really eat after all the stomach ache we endured. One positive point; the beach and the pools. They were really Nice and beautiful. The kids loved the water slide section. I would rate my vacation of 2/5 i never got sick like that in an all inclusive hôtel. And we were not alone, we Heard lots of people got sick. For all these Reasons, i cant recommend this all inclusive.

super great Waiter OBED
The Samurai Asian Cuisine! It was delicious. Our server Obed was the best. So attentive, so friendly. So serviceable! He was the best and nicest waiter we had in the resort. He would recommend plates. We went to this restaurant twice. Both times he was our waiter! Made us laugh! He was awesome!

Food Safety Is An Issue
Room was very nice. Room service was mediocre (it took a week for someone to mop vomit spots around toilet floor), sink towels were often non-existent, fridge was never re-stocked. The worst part is that restaurant staff don't seem to take food safety seriously. My family of three all experienced multiple nights of vomiting and diarrhea during our 10-night stay. We met other guests at the hotel and they had similar experiences. I started checking the buffet heating lamps located over the food. Those lamps are supposed to keep the food hot and safe. I placed my hand under multiple lamps and there was either no heat (Lamp was an LED) or very low heat lamp. The restaurants were no better. All appetizers that I ordered at various restaurants were just luke warm. The main entrees would be very hot (Oriental restaurant) or luke warm (chicken breast at the Argentinian restaurant). I would not recommend this resort until the food safety issues are resolved.
