Mediocre and wouldn’t go back
This hotel is a three star at best. Very mediocre overall experience. With the exception of a few staff members, staff were disengaged and even curt at times. The food was lackluster. Cold often and served at inconsistent times for a table. The hotel changed policies after our reservation, which limited our access to all of the pools and implemented a fee for room service. The tennis and soccer courts were closed nearly all of the time that we were there which was a big disappointment for my son. There’s a reason why they don’t show pictures of the bathrooms on the website because they are all different and many I suspect were as bad as mine was. Old 1 inch tile in the bathroom with squeaky grungy doors. Saving grace was that there was good water pressure. The pools are all three right beside each other and there are no grounds to speak of. There are very few entertainment activities during the day. The beach was nice and the staff came with drinks regularly. However, there were not enough loungers for people and almost no umbrellas for shade. The restaurants look nice from appearances, but really fall short when it comes to food service and friendliness. I would not return to this resort and if I’d paid a single penny more than I paid, I would’ve been very disappointed.

Good time with the family; first time and the last time !
A lot of Quebec’s people wich it’s nice for the kids to find friends. Not a lot of chairs on the beach, and the price for a bed is too expensive 100$us. The buffet is variate but there is no purrel of bathroom to clean our hands. Many people were sick when we were there. Be aware with the food and at the buffet.

Go somewhere else
Adults only pool and bar area, under construction. Icemakers, all broken. Gym, moved to a small multi-purpose room, equipment in state of disrepair and area was messy at all times. Mini-golf, in state of disrepair. A pillar in the lobby is falling apart, with debris falling. Mold in bathroom. Do no disturb lights, do not work. Water features, in main floor, do not work. Guests are reserving chairs for several hours, despite signage stating not to. Hotel staff seem to only enforce rules where you can pay more to circumvent issues created by poor adherence to hotel policy by hotel staff. Lifeguards not paying attention, too busy singing and dancing. If this is really seen by a manager, you need to spend some time walking around the hotel. You can easily fire 1 in 4 of your staff for being rude and make a mile long list of things that need immediate maintenance.

Great family resort
The Mexican & Japanese restaurants were delicious. The night shows were amazing, not only for kids but the whole family, specially the neon show. Excellent resort for family with small kids. Great entertainment and activities. I loved the crepes that were available everyday along with a fresh Mocha. The tacos made in the view (buffet) were out of this world. The staff is super friendly and willing to help. I’d definitely come back.

Great hotel for families
Shout out to Eduardo! Hardest working, most genuine employee. We wish him and his family all the best, give this man a promotion! We went with our three kids under five years old January 17-24, 2025. Hotel & rooms: hotel is gorgeous, currently gym and spa are under renovation which was a disappointment. Main lobby, restaraunts, pool areas all beautiful. Our room was dated but clean and functional with a comfortable bed. The rooms do need an upgrade so be aware if this is a priority for you. Tv selection was awesome for kids and adults- mini bar restocked daily with extra beer if you tip and request it. Housekeeping wonderful, daily, prompt, efficient. Pool: the pool was cold on days it was rainy/windy/ cloudy. But it was luxurious on the hot sunny days. There are not enough chairs like every other review mentions so you have to go down early to reserve them if you want them for the day, even though the rule is you are not supposed to everyone does this. If you wait until later in the day after lunch you have a better chance of finding a chair. Beach: the ocean is very rough at this spot. We couldn’t swim with our kids under 5 at all. It’s a sharp slope down to the waters edge with big waves and strong under currents. This is a reason I wouldn’t return simply because my young children need a shallow entry with calm waters- this is not the hotels fault or a problem for adults/ older children with strong swimming abilities. Baby club/ water park: incredible. Completely made up for the rough beach because we could enjoy it as much as we wanted. There is a large castle with two slides for older kids and a smaller side with smaller castle with slides and pirate ship with slides and shallow water when you land. Our 4 year old and 3 year old even took off their life jackets and had a blast for hours with us watching. The daily entertainment here is amazing and the staff are awesome. There is a list of daily activities on a screen by the main buffet make sure to check this out because it has more information and is more accurate then the hotel app. One rainy day I took my kids to the baby club they played for hours and even got their faces painted a butterfly and spider man and loved it. The girls are so friendly. The Mexican restaraunt also opens for lunch on this side of the resort so if you plan it right you can do baby club all morning then hit the restaraunt when it opens at 12:30 it’s amazing. Food: room service for breakfast absolutely made my trip. $10 room charge plus tip but was worth every cent to just pick up the phone and have the kids fed, also the breakfast was delicious. Healthy omelette, great bacon, hash browns, good coffee. A la cartes- all delicious, never had a problem getting a table if we went around opening time. If they fill up it’s a wait like any restaraunt until they turn their tables, so just come back in 45 min and you can get a table. This is normal for restaraunts and I don’t understand why it warrants negative reviews from people. Also one night one was full so we went to another one and got in no problem. If they’re all full go to the buffet or room service. Buffet- I enjoyed this buffet for its unique layout in a circle- helpful kids station with go to toddler foods- beer and wine since parents rarely get a chance to enjoy that on the go so I appreciated it- so many options, in my opinion best to go with authentic Mexican while in Mexico because that’s obviously that they’re going to cook best with the most flavour since it’s familiar to them and ingredients are available. If you want exceptional Italian go to Italy.. or you can have decent/ ok Italian cooked in Mexico. I digress- the tacos at the buffet are delicious. Staff: so friendly, so attentive, and every where. Very hardworking people each and every one of them doing their best to make your stay the best it can possibly be. There are infinity club sales people in the lobby who try and talk to you, their shirts are clearly marked and it’s not hard to politely decline if you arnt interested. It’s their job to try and sell that don’t take it personally. I appreciated the lobby waiters because of my kids got ice cream at the creperie and we sat down they would run to the bar for drinks for us which was so helpful. Soon as we sat on the beach, beach waiter came to bring drinks, same with the pool. We had Eduardo two days in a row at the beach and pool and this man runs hard to keep bringing you whatever you want as much as you want for his entire shift. He is extremely friendly, courteous, prompt and efficient. He deserves a raise and a promotion. The front desk staff helped me locate two missing life jackets our kids lost which was so helpful. We got to keep our room until 4pm with late check out (cost $20 per hours reasonable and affordable and worth it) the front desk was very helpful at coordinating this as well. Absolutely worth visiting this hotel with children and families.
