Restful winter stay
Debated for a long time as to where to book in lanzarote but definitely made the right call. The team here are fantastic. The hotel is situated at the end of puerto calero, beside the sea and hills (no sandy beaches nearby fyi) The stand out element for me personally was the excellent spa. Not just the sauna/pool facilities but the treatments. Dolores runs a great spa and you can tell from the moment you visit it. (Try the Tibetan singing bowls for some real zen) Room was great - all that you can need. Walls a little thin perhaps (is my only real negative but I’m a light sleeper). Puerto Calero is only a 5 minute walk. Puerto del Carmen approx 45 min walk or you can take the water taxi. Worth exploring further as it’s a small island. Plenty of eateries if you’re not all inclusive. I’d return to this hotel as the staff are all just great especially Konte who was particularly helpful with an issue, and Veronica on reception - both real assets to the property. Adults only is heaven, it’s a more serene hotel, no crazy loud entertainment or noise around the pools.

Nice Hotel but had a few issues.
Lovely hotel and good facilities. We stayed in a “garden view” room. However, the view was of the car park, some construction with a couple of trees directly in front. We requested 3 times to be moved without this happening. We got fed up of the excuses so gave up. The pillows and bed were awful. Having stayed in a number of 5 star accommodation, I can say they are the worst I have experienced. The room was not cleaned on the majority of our stay till late afternoon. They obviously don’t employ enough cleaning staff. The location is good near Puerto Calero, it is a 45 minute walk to Puerto del Carmen. However, you can get on a water bus which costs 11 euros one way. Overall, despite the above issues it was a lovely hotel.

First class
The hotel itself was fantastic. The room was lovely. The food , drinks and entertainment were excellent. The pools and outside seating areas were idilic and so relaxing . The spa was also lovely and relaxing with excellent staff to explain the facilities to us . The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and could not do enough for us . On our last day a lovely hand written note from Carla L from the guest experience team was left in our room with a bottle of wine . 10out of 10 .

Excellent few days - sold on the brand!
I booked this holiday as a surprise for my wife - 3 nights away, with no expectations other than to relax by the pool with some nice weather. On arrival we were so pleased with how warm and welcoming the staff at the check in were. They were incredibly helpful and refused to let me carry my own bags to our room. Our room was much better than expected. I booked the holiday in the BA sale and expected a basic room. The room was anything but basic. Clean, spacious, well designed and with a 'his and hers' sink. The balcony area and the view were just spectacular and a real bonus. We tried most of the restaurants including a buffet dinner at the World Cafe (breakfast restaurant), Portofino and Oceana. My wife is vegan and the staff made sure to be proactive in making sure she was catered for. The options in the buffet varied each night so some nights would be better than others - the night we went to the buffet dinner there were a decent amount of options, so we did not have to ask for any vegan dishes. Breakfast was brilliant - fruit, cooked foods, breads, pastries, cereals - best hotel orange juice I've ever tasted. The atmosphere was brilliant. In January the hotel was not extremely busy so you felt like you had a private resort at times. However in the middle of the day there were plenty of people around the pool and at dinner times, the restaurants were full so there was a nice atmosphere, without ever having to wait for a table or a pool lounger. Very pleasantly surprised by how good our experience was, we're now looking at another family holiday with our daughter and will look again to the Hyatt brand, specifically their family friendly 'Dreams' option.

Very relaxing stay
Lovely clean, comfortable, well located hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Konte who was always on had with information and a friendly smile. All service was exceptional! The food is very good, especially the Italian restaurant. Very fresh and full of flavor! We tried the buffet for lunch one day, and as we attended later in the day, we didn't have much time to enjoy our meal. Just after sitting down to eat we were told the buffet would be closing and we had ten minutes to get anything else we wanted. We felt very rushed and couldn't enjoy the meal properly. Feedback for the hotel is to guests know the time the buffet will stop serving if they attend later in the day. We would have gone to the Barefoot Grill had we known. Overall we had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would return!
