Costa Rica's best kept Secret!
From check-in to check-out and everything in between, this was such an incredible experience. Highly recommend paying extra for the Preferred Club - it was outstanding in every way. The restaurant options were so numerous, with a welcome variety of cuisine. The food was top class, the service was impeccable and the views were breathtaking. With a continual slate of activities and round the clock attention, we didn't want to leave!

Activities Team Review
Allison did a great job with aerobics and Ariana was great with making bracelets. They have made the activities very fun on such a rainy trip! All of the staff at the resort have been very kind and helpful. I highly recommend them for any of the activities at the resort.

Make a bracelet in Costa Rica.
Ariana is amazing!!! Bracelet making is a must do! It was raining when we started and sunny when we finished! Next up is painting! Can’t wait to see how that goes. Hopefully I can get my husband to join the painting class. The kayak s are calling his name. Have to say, they keep you busy!

5 Days in Papagayo
Unfortunately for us and also the people of Costa Rica, we stayed at this hotel during some of the worst rain the area has ever had. That being said, they hotel was of a good standard, though some areas required a new lick of paint to be fair. You can obtain transport to get to your room, which is a godsebd as the rooms, in the majority, are set on hills. The staff could not be nicer. Always helpful and accommodating. I cannot fault the food. This was our last stop in a series of three, the first two being tortegera and arenal Saw some wilife therw, but with this being a wedding venue Nd also an American corporate reward hotel, the wildlife was probably scared off by the very loud American guests who spent the day drinking in the pool All named drinks were included, along with cocktails, however, 2 of the restaurants required long trousers for men for some reason. The drawback for me was the preferred guest system. Certain privileges were allowed to the chosen few who spent a lite bit more, such as use of cabanas, pre booking of restaurants and overall a more personal service. Something I completely disagree with and I feel is unfair as we never had the chance to take up this option. Another fault was that we could not get anywhere to dry our rain soaked clothes. Everything is damp. An electric airer would be a good option for patrons when the weather is as wet as it was for us. Overall, the food was good, the drinks were good and the staff excellent, but I do not give this hotel 5 stars due to the preferred guest system which I feel is unfair
