  Paradise!

  This resort is amazing. Mix of tropical and beach. Food was really good and the service was fantastic. Special shout out to Carlos Salazar, the server at the Preferred Pool. He was extremely attentive. Oscar at the beach bar was also excellent and informative. Be sure to check out all the different pools as they all offer a different experience. Highly recommend!

  Amazing! But room for improvement!

  Nothing short than amazing! Our recent stay was really good indeed although the weather was quite harsh. I would start by saying that we felt the effort the hotel made to try to compensate with increasing both the 2 main pools water temperature, although they should have started early as it only got bearable in the chekout day. I would prioritize always the existence of one heated pool all the time. Nevertheless the heated jacuzzi was always amazing!! Let me start with the cons: - very cold AC in the cafes and restaurants that was not necessary at all and most of times was uncomfortable either. - expected more of the night entertainment compared to other Secrets resorts. Loved the karaoke night but again it was freazing cold. - bath amenities feel poor quality for the standards. I would change the brand ASAP. - I would employ a professional mixologist for the main bar which is beautiful but the drinks are just ok. By the way the jazz lady we saw 2 nights performing there at night is really underwhelmed also. - I missed a smoothie or healthy station/area during the day. - I always hate to wear long pants at night for staying inside the secrets restaurants at night! Now the positives: - beautiful new resort with top notch facilities. - beach area very clean with white sand. - amazing breakfast quality! The pastries are really top notch quality which is quite rare. Got an amazing stake at the Mexican restaurant and quite good dishes at the French restaurant. Seafood restaurant could be improved. The performers at the Mexican restaurant are amazing. - service was overall good. - perfect cleaning. - the gardens are immaculate!

  You won’t regret ! Go and enjoy everything this resort has to offer!

  This resort hands down was one of the most beautiful ever! The service was over the top, starting with our butlers Martin and Belen. They made sure we were well taken care of! Daniel at the pool was amazing too, never waited for that drink! Go!!

  Everything & more from a Secrets resort!

  My sister and I enjoyed the beautiful resort! Our butlers Belen and Martin attended to our every need! Food and drinks were delicious! Javier & J Jesus from the preferred club bar made us some awesome drinks! Entertainment in the clubs and theater were entertaining lol! Fun pool and beach activities! Laila on the activities team was so sweet! The hydrotherapy circuit at the spa is a must do!

  Overall a Disappointment.

  Very underwhelming for the “all inclusive” price. The shower design flooded almost out into the bedroom because the floor was built flat instead of angled towards the drain, our pillows had an odor to them, the food flavors and lack of options to each restaurant was underwhelming, and there was noise from the electricity, the surrounding room’s plumbing, and the outside areas construction. I don’t find that it was worth the hassle of flights and passing through customs to have justified the trip. The workers were the best part, but with the cost we believe that it was more about the aesthetic as opposed to the actual functionality of the resort itself.
