Ambiente, Servicio, La Playa Blanca, Todo Excelente! What a perfect place to vacation with our family, especially at Christmas. First, let us salute the overwhelming staff, not a Scrooge, Grinch anywhere! Then, Santa arrived via parasail, Wow! The restaurants and room-service offered varied choices, something for everyone. Of significance, was the decor, local artisans were featured throughout, so beautiful.

Dec 28, 2024Hold Onto the Receipt for This Memorable Spot
During our four-night stay, our entire trip was marvelous. The staff cared for us, provided excellent service, and made us feel at home. The food was great, and the drinks were even more incredible. However, there was one instance of confusion regarding our checkout date; they had us scheduled to leave on Monday instead of Tuesday, the actual day of our departure. I recommend keeping your email receipt in case you encounter a similar situation. Other than that, everything else was great!

Staff makes this resort a great experience
We had an amazing stay at secrets playa Blanca between October 31/24-November 6/25 in an ocean view king room (non-preferred). The layout of the resort was 10/10. This resort is perfect for those who do hate super mega resorts that need a golf cart to get around. We were able to get around anywhere in a five minute walk. The food we had was great, especially at the French and Asian restaurant. Some of the best sushi we have had which was a complete surprise. Good at the buffet was superb, lots of options. They do a great job of special feature cocktails and cocktails at each restaurant daily. Liquor selection overall is strong. There were no mixed shots being served due to a previous incident, but this did not impact our stay, as the bartender at rendezvous bar exceeded our expectations with mixed cocktails. The two staff members at Coco cafe were a highlight and went above and beyond, and were one of the best parts of our trip. Luis and Miguel made our stay. They would go above and beyond to get items for us from the buffet to make our stay comfortable. The beach was super soft, and while the water was rough during our stay, the crew did a great job and there was no seaweed on hand. We did not have any issues finding a spot at either the beach or poolside. We did not experience any vendors other than one at the beach for massages who were no trouble at all. What set this resort was the level of service the staff provided. They truly went above and beyond to make our 5th year anniversary an unforgettable experience. We were here for the day of the dead, are the resort did an incredible job of providing great entertainment but also a relaxing vibe which we were looking for to truly relax from our busy lives. The following people deserve an extra shoutout based on the level of care provided: Ivan, Juan, Suriye- Oceana Andy-desires nightclub Armando - Concierge building 7 (accommodated all of our requests and was a pleasure to talk to all week) Jonas-entertainment team Beach bar-Luis Alex and Elizabeth-rendezvous bar (Alex by far was a standout, made some unbelievable cocktails) Eyder-himitsu Carlos-beach Prices have significantly increased since our stay, but the resort provides truly exceptional service! I really hope to be back at this resort in the near future. Thank you staff of Secrets playa Blanca!

Our whole experience at Secrets Playa Blanca was absolutely amazing!!! The whole staff, from our initial check in to check out were all very friendly and helpful!!! Our concierge Armando was truly amazing to let us know the activities on a daily basis!! We would highly recommend this resort to all adults!!

Great Service, Friendly Staff
I am particularly excited for every stay at Secrets because of the beautiful resort but more importantly the secret cabinet in each Secret’s hotel, which serves as a convenient storage space for room service items. This feature is useful for late-night cravings or breakfast preparations before waking up. Our concierge, Armando, demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and made us feel at home throughout our stay.
