First and last stay
Be prepared for at least 45 mins wait times at dinner, even though there were many tables open. Staff rarely cared about service. Very limited options for vegetarian people, missing food tags during buffet and lunch, un-replenished food. Resort is great but the overall management at restaurants is terrible.

A Perfect Beachfront Escape
This resort is simply spectacular! The stunning gardens create a serene and picturesque setting, and the lovely staff go above and beyond to make every stay unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views. The variety of specialty restaurants ensures there's something delicious for everyone, and the service—especially at the beach—is exceptional. A special thank you to Alberado for making our time by the shore even more enjoyable! The beach itself is truly incredible, with rolling waves and the magical experience of watching whales glide by. This is our third time visiting, and we will absolutely be returning again. A perfect getaway in every way!

Really beautiful resort!
We stayed in a preferred club ocean view master suite. The room was absolutely beautiful, large and comfy. The preferred lounge was our go-to place every morning for coffee, and every evening for drinks and bites before dinner. The grounds are lovely and every staff member greeted us with a smile and “how can I help” attitude. We spent most days at the preferred pool where we watched whales jumping and swam in the gorgeous infinity pool. The pool servers were amazing and made sure your drinks and snacks were always fresh. We went to the main pool one day which was more lively, and also very nice. We really wanted to spend time in the lower level beach area but could never get a lounge chair as they were always “reserved” with towels by the time we got down there. Despite the rule that lounge chairs cannot be reserved, they certainly are! That was one of the most frustrating things to deal with. I guess unless you get up at 6am and throw your towels and books on a chair, you’re out of luck. The prime location loungers were simply never available, but usually empty except for someone else’s stuff. People were often missing for hours before they wandered back to their prime seat. I know this is a common issues at many resorts and some places deal with it better than others. As for food, we found the buffet at breakfast to be surprisingly good! We never really ate lunch but had snacks and bites at the pool. The dinner restaurants were just ok and the food was not really up to the level we were expecting. This is really a gorgeous resort with excellent staff members. Not sure we’ll return simply due to the quality of the food.

No need to second guess this one.
5 out of 5! As Hyatt Members, we were impressed with Puerto Los Cabos and staff. We booked Preferred Club ocean front room. The property is very clean and well maintained. You can see the staff working daily to keep the property in great shape. The Preferred Club experience is well worth it. We enjoyed the Oceana for breakfast which is exclusive to the Club at that time. We never had to wait and it was beautiful with tasty options like the chicken rings enchiladas. We found the Club pool to be relaxing, beautiful and well staffed. We had incredible service from Savir and Angel at the pool. We spent at least 6 hours a day at the pool and Savir was attentive and even found me a pool float to enjoy my stay more. Angel was quick to respond to our orders and was so professional. They made our experience perfect. The events team had fun activities for those who wanted to play games. The main pool has a party vibe which is a nice change and it has an abundance of shade, lounge chairs and different options for guests. We were impressed with the food and we have been to numerous all inclusive hotels. Nightly they had special dining experience in addition to the restaurants. We found the taco nights to be our favorite the salsa and ingredients were so fresh and tasty. I became nervous about the food after reading some reviews, but i have no idea what those people were talking about. We had great variety and well prepared meals in the entire resort and room service. We enjoyed the Rendezvous lounge which we loving call the Birdcage. We went for live music nightly. We found the saxophone player so endearing and a nice change from the bands and singers. We did find it odd they had a traditional Chinese lion dance performance considering it was March but we still enjoyed the surprise performance. We decided to not golf but the course looks fun and is well maintained, we will for sure play during our next stay. The property is very large so if you are not in Preferred Club it is a long walk especially to the beach. Loved the swings at the beach bar! They do need more activity down there because it's a missed opportunity. If they had more tables and chairs we would have enjoyed playing cards and games down there. We booked the group transport from The airport to the resort through Amstar. That was a perfect and reliable option. Don't get stopped by the people in the airport just get outside and find the Amstar Team. They are also positioned in the resort for added convenience of booking other activities. We would highly recommend this resort and we will be back booking the same room!! There is nothing to second guess. The resort online photos don't do it justice. We found the resort to be beautiful and better in person than the photos.
