  Best resort to make memories at.

  After a 5 night stay, here’s what I have to say. Both my family and boyfriend’s family spent Christmas at this resort in December 2024… this was the BEST decision we have ever made! This place is a 5 star resort for a REASON. VENUE: The grounds of this resort are stunning. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the architectural design, I feel like my breath was taken away with each turn I made. The rooms are a very nice and were kept clean throughout the entire duration of our stay. FOOD&DRINKS: Exquisite. The food is fresh and authentic. They have a range from Mexican, Italian, Hibachi, and American inspired cuisine! It is apparent that perfection is the standard with the taste and presentation of each dish at all locations within the resort. Drinks are also amazing. They have many different options even for non-alcoholic beverages such as fresh juice! STAFF: The staff members were easily the best part of our entire experience. They did a great job with creating such positive environments for my family and me to have fun. They put on fun games and activities day and night. They really made for such a memorable experience especially because they made it feel like they really cared about you. It was fun talking with them and getting to know about them as well. We made it a point to see them each day because we couldn’t get enough of them! They were so fun, caring, and attentive. Axel and Roberto are the two staff members who really went above and beyond for us. We miss them already! Overall, we had such a great experience here. My boyfriend also proposed to me during our stay here. It was the perfect resort for this memory to be created at. ❤️ We hope to be back!

  1st all inclusive experience did not disappoint

  Great spot. would do it again. Staff where all awesome and added to the experience. Some food is great, some is average, but always a good variety. We would definitely do this again. The beach spot was awesome. We always saw whales. The gold in the area is pricey but good.

  Friend’s Vacation

  ROOM-We had the Junior suite garden view. Our friends upgraded to ocean view, and one swim out. They both regretted the $600 upgrade. The rooms themselves were the same. This hotel doesn’t sit directly on the beach so an ocean view room is quite a distance beyond the golf course. Our garden view still had an ocean view just beyond one building. The swim out was heated the first day but not the next. They only used it once. You will not receive beverage service in your swimout. Our Junior garden view was in building 3. Honestly I was worried how far it was away from the main pool, but honestly it was only a 2 minute walk. We were very happy with the “cheaper” room. Our cleaning room service was excellent! POOL AREA- Large pool heated, swimup bar on one side, and infinity on other side. Getting lounge chairs still difficult unless you rise early to save! We did not have Preferred Status so did not go to the private pool. Drink Service at pool again just okay. SERVICE- Is hard to say we got poor service, because we would never get this type of service in the states. Everyone was nice, and never had an issue. Swimup bartenders were focused and not a lot of interaction. Pool servers They had a strong entertainment team, and would see them in pool, at the bars interacting with the customer. We heard they were short staffed…? FOOD- all previous reviews were correct, food was just okay and wait time was long ( at least 40-60 minutes) but we went in knowing this so we planned around that so it did not ruin our experience. NIGHT EVENTS- a lot of past reviews said no night life. I disagree, no it’s not a Cancun party, but they had shows, live music and the Desires Bar was open to like 1am and you could play pool, watch sports, and dance. We went here every night. DRINKS- Coors Light!! Absolute And Kettle One, Jack, Jim Beam, Canadian Club, Tanqueray, Beefeaters, yes Rum and Tequila! No ginger ale or ginger beer. Must try MangoTango and one of the bartenders made me an Arnold Palmer,it was great! My husband wanted to add NO Crown Royal! Lol The last 12 years we have got to enjoy vacationing to Mexico. This resort was not our favorite, but we would keep it on our list to return. We got a great deal for this Secrets, would we pay their normal rate No…. Needless to say it was vacation away from work and enjoyed our time with our friends

  Tuna and octopus were incredible!

  We are at oceana for dinner and had a wonderful meal and great service from Alex, Humberto and Vladimir! The octopus appetizer and then the tuna steak entree was absolutely incredible. Incredible view and sunset topped off the night! It was a wonderful meal!

  Great vacation!

  We had great time at this resort. The food was better than expected. Service was top notch. The pools were warm and the hot tubs hot. We never had a problem getting chairs around the pool. The beach is great for walking but not more than that. We did see quite a few whales through out the week.
