Dec 24, 2024Beware of the Unlimited Vacation club
Hello, we requested to cancel the dinner on the beach due to rainy weather. The front desk was giving attitude and refusing to take the Coupon back. After a lot of back and forth the front desk ask me my room number and took the Coupon. This was 3 hours of our vacation wasted on something like a timeshare presentation and for them to give us a hard time is so unprofessional. We were not informed of a cancelation policy or that there would be change to my credit card. Not a good ending to our vacation. Guest beware and just opt out of the offer and enjoy your vacation wire no strings attach.

Overall great experience, very enjoyable, beautiful beach, great pools, entertainment, friendly staff, clean hotel and great rooms, excellent spa services. Dinners were not great, wait time for seating and food quality were not great but not terrible either.

I honestly cannot write enough about this place. I'm worried about leaving a novel to read, so I will try to keep this as short as possible. The room was phenomenal and there was turndown service every night. You can walk out to your balcony to see the pool right there. You can walk 5 feet further to see the beach. Whatever you need, there is staff literally walking around to get things for you. There were so many times I was told 'You are on vacation, let me get that for you'. The food, the ambiance, the drinks; to die for. There is a club on the resort, which was great, and I also recommend going into Jamaica to see more authentic culture. They do accept US dollar and the exchange rate is great. $1 US = 155 JMD, so I was elated to give them tips. They deserved every penny and more. They sell beef patties, jerk chicken, and fresh pineapple along the walkway. Every single person I spoke to always told me they are very happy, and they love life, and they treated you like family. Whatever you're thinking of doing for vacation, please add this to your list!

Our poolside bartender made our all inclusive vacation perfect. Thank you Marlando!
An all-inclusive, adults only is the ONLY way for a couple to go on a beach/pool vacation. Marlando, in the Manatees swim up bar, kept our drinks filled, and our faces smiling! Joking and giving, we couldn't wait until the pool bar opened because of Marlando!

Jamaican me happy!
Absolutely a blast! Wife and I stayed in the preferred club master suite at Secrets St. James. Room was excellent and amenities were well thought out. Restaurants were all excellent. Staff was soo friendly and helpful. 100% will be back! We had Tajee and Darwin as our butlers for the week and they absolutely made our experience 10x better. Even without the butler service it would not be hard at all to have an amazing time here. You can either join the party or find space to get away and relax.
