The food, entertainment and quality of service is all outstanding. The standout star was the Market Cafe, so many options, loved the addition of the Raw Bar and Cheese section. We had a great experience and we'd recommend it highly to anyone looking for a quality Mayan Riviera holiday.

Secrets Akumal
This is our third visit to Secrets Akumal and it won't be our last. They've just been awarded 5 diamond status and it's clearly warranted. The food, entertainment and quality of service is all outstanding. The property is spotless at all times and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the pool concierges Osuna, Antonio and Luis for treating us so well. This is a highly professional, fun and polite team that pays attention to the smallest details. Fernanda, our Building 3 concierge, was always cheerful and very helpful and was a big part of making my cousin's birthday very special. Thank you so much. Luis (pool) and Santiago (Rendezvous bar), we still can't believe you remembered us from last year. You truly did make us feel like we were back home. We'd also like to thank our UVC representatives for a beautiful room upgrade. This is our 14th trip as members and you never fail us. Muchas gracias. Keep up the great work. Scott and Beth

Great Food and Good service, Beautiful Resort
We have been to Akumal multiple times and always loved it. This was our first visit back after 2 years. It is even better. The standout star was the Market Cafe, so many options, loved the addition of the Raw Bar and Cheese section. We love the ala carte resturants which are the Gems of Secrets, but for this 4 day stay, Coco Cafe and Market Cafe were winners. Also loved the expansion of the Preferred area on the Beach. Finding a car mid-day we encountered no issues.

Really no complaints
Our first stay at a Secrets and this was a great experience. No complaints really. I’m we were aware there would be some VIP “ selling” at check in, but once we said no thanks and didn’t upgrade info, that was that. The food is excellent, especially the night there was a Mexican outdoor show and food stations were set-up. Mexican a la cart and Italian restaurant was great. Drink options were fantastic. We were celebrating anniversary and unprompted they delivered rose petals, bubbly and a card. Lots of good interactions with staff from groundskeepers, to consierges, to cleaners and serving staff.

Great stay at Secrets Akumal
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Secrets Akumal. Our trip was both a short business event and a few extra days holiday. Aside from some iffy weather, our time there was amazing! We had a great experience and we'd recommend it highly to anyone looking for a quality Mayan Riviera holiday.
