Nicest people on the planet . I will definitely go again . Excepting staff top to bottom , traffic is crazy but traffic is crazy everywhere . Just a very cool Vibe . No tourism pressure , no up sells. Just a very good place to go for some good food, great weather. And good people!

Very nice resort. Food quality is less than average for the resort’s reputation and specially one owned by Hyatt. Service is very slow. When you sit for a meal, you would expect your meal to be served hot within 15-30 min after ordering. Often it took 45-60 Min for a meal to be served and often it was not hot. Male servers generally very friendly and helpful, female servers often had attitudes and were not as attentive as others. This was my 5th time coming to secrets. Obviously it was a great resort. This last visit gave me second thought about whether I would return. I like and appreciate high end resorts. This place does not qualify as high end in my opinion.

I enjoyed my birthday trip one of the best experiences ever
The WiFi should be better but everything else was simply amazing! I can't wait to return! Special shoutout to the wonderful team who went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time: the talented dancers Gee Gee, Imani, and Sashy, the awesome bartender Wendy, and the incredible dancer Chef. From check-in to check-out, every moment was unforgettable!

St. James ocean view swim outs, great staff!
We were originally booked in an ocean view swim out on the preferred side of Wild Orchid, but got bumped to the St. James side when we arrived. We were with a group of 20, so we were really bummed about this at first but the gal helping us (super sweet, I think her name was Shanae) was very kind and understanding so just rolled with it since we got moved with 1 of the other couples (my hubby's BFF and wife) and got to be in a room right next to them. That turned out to be THE best!! The swim outs on the St. James side are much more private, get great sun all day and that side of the resort is quieter with super easy access to Breathless (for a few more resturant options, we liked the breakfasts and lobby bar there). We still had the option to hit the other pools if we wanted activities and music but could get away when we needed a break from the action. We could still enjoy our patio without all the noise from the late night activities. But the BEST part of all was the staff, especially our sweet butlers, Tajae and Darwin! They reserved chairs for us every day, kept our coolers stocked, made sure we were set with dinner reservations and just did a great job of checking in a few times a day to make sure we had everything we needed. They really made our stay special and we hope to get back to see them again! The staff in general, was awesome!! They work hard to make your stay a good one. We had some great servers on the beach and pool, including Kadeen and Shanice and our favorite friend in the preferred lounge, Joy! and so many more I wish I could call out by name but I just can't remeber everyone and wish I had written them down. From the bellman, to the servers, bartenders, entertainers (Actor Boy and Stretch, good luck on your careers!), front desk staff, the butlers, housekeepers, groundskeepers and everyone else works hard to make this resort what it is, we see you, we appreciate you and can't wait to come back again! Yah Mon!
