Nice place, but be ready to wait
The resort is very well kept. The servers are very nice. The wait for food, drinks, and, well anything at night and during the day is well below par for a resort. Luckily the food is good or this would be the worse resort i’ve been too. Nice place for families, but you better be ready to wait for everything.

Modern Resort
Modern Resort with specious rooms with stunning view. Very good food ,especially in Mexican Restaurant and Gallery .Snack and drinks were serve at the pool and lobby.Everyday some entertainment at the pool and in the theatre at 9pm. No moment to be bored. Janitzia at lobby was tirelessly serving drinks till late ours.Marco,Javier and Daniel in Gallery were not only the servers but entertainers with humor.Gustavo and Alicia from animation were very friendly to engage everybody to aerobic and dance at the pool. Generally crew at Sensira were extremely friendly and helpful. The only draw back was a beach infested with Sargassum seaweeds and murky water so we were walking to next door resort to swim. Issue to adres : Despite 20 % occupancy on Dec 7th the desk clerks made us wait for the room few hours.

Fun and relaxing
My best friend and I stayed at the Sensira 12/9 thru the 13th for our birthdays. Hever/Ever made our stay awesome! Our days were full of laughter and mimosas. Beachside view with plenty of naps putting the R in relaxation. Plenty of good entertainment from David. I would like to mention a couple of thanks to Anthony for delivering our bags. Mario for being so nice, the two young ladies at the host stand at the breakfast buffet. A special thanks to Hever/ Eve again!!!

Pretty good family resort- amazing coffee!
The family activities were great- Miguel w the Zipline was really kind and helpful- so was the staff that catches you at the end of the zip line but I didn’t get their names. The beach was nice and the service was good for drinks and snacks, poolside, and beachside. It might be because we came on an off-week (before Christmas), but the restaurant hours were limited, and it was hard to accommodate feeding our picky kids. The kids menu didn’t address vegetarian children. Also, you couldn’t make reservations at the restaurant so it was first come first serve and one night we waited half an hour to be seated and another half hour just for water. If they normally require reservations, they should do it year-round, and they need to open up a few more food choices at lunch and dinner to accommodate the number of guests. The food itself was good for adults— some variety and nice vegetarian options- also gluten free options. The staff was impeccable- they just seemed to be short staffed, so many stuff doing multiple jobs, but they always had such a good attitude. Again, I’m wondering if this was this particular week, because their program schedule didn’t exactly match what was really going on- and I thought we might be in the off-season. The music at the shows were too loud- though this is typical of a Mexican family resort from our experience. The coolest show was the Fire Show on the beach. I really loved to yoga class too! I wish they consistently had popcorn at the movies. The room was nice- we stayed in a queen and there wasn’t a full wall separating the shower so it caused some logistical challenges with our teenager. I recommend this for families who have kids that aren’t super picky eaters — or adults as the adult amenities were great. Loved all the bartenders! The espresso was awesome and available all day. There’s a “tea house” where you can get lattes and hot chai and espresso and ice cream from 6 to 6, and on the weekends until 10 PM!

Good for families, not so great for others
Had a great time here! We got it on a sale, and I think at the price we paid, the value we received was good. Having said that, I'd hesitate to return. In this travel group, I went with a friend and other friends with kids. If no one in the group had kids, I don't think there'd be a reason to go. It's a bit too family-friendly from my perspective. Everything closes really early for food, leaving room service as the only dining after 10 pm. For drinks, the majority of bars close at 11, which is so early when you're on vacation. The club was open later but felt eerily empty when there's just your group in it. As for the food, the buffet and pool restaurant were fantastic! Fun stations every day at the buffet, such as DIY tacos, pasta, etc. Pool food was shockingly good. The aguachile was life changing. The a la carte restaurants were just bad, in my opinion. Every time I ate at one, I was wishing that the buffet was open in the evening. We tried all 4 of them, and the best was galerie de sens. It was a cool dining experience with a tasting menu, but it definitely still felt a bit lacking. The beach did suck so if you're coming for the crystal blue water, I don't think this is the spot for you. The staff were so good! The lobby bar lady made our trip, and I'm feeling so bad for not remembering her name. The buffet servers were so nice and attentive. Overall, I had fun. But I think I'd choose somewhere else as a person without kids.
