A solid hotel, but not really a resort

**Really 3.5 stars We had to switch to this resort last minute when the resort we had originally booked was closed down due to the hurricane last week. Overall, it is a solid hotel, but it is not really a resort. The good: The rooms are great. We had a full kitchen, a living room, 2 bathrooms, a washer/dryer, a balcony, and 2 bedrooms (one with a king sized bed and one with two full beds). It was kept very cold, but you can control the temperature. Most supplies were included (you did have to pay for laundry detergent). The location is great, close to the beach access and tons of resturants. The pool is clean and beautiful. We had a rental car and didn't use it, but they had shuttles to local beaches. They also had games and puzzles you could borrow, as well as beach chairs and umbrellas. The bad: It is not really a resort. They had a few events, but most of them were cancelled, either due to lack of sign ups or, in one case, karaoke was cancelled due to a broken projector. When one event was cancelled, they did compensate by offering free rum punch, but there was nothing offered for the other cancellations. Also, it was sometimes diffcult to reach staff, as the desk was only manned from 9-5. No beach access. We enjoyed our stay very much, but I wish we knew it wasn't really a resort.

Beach chair chaos everyday promotes total dirtbag moves

The beach chair arrange promotes dirtbag moves. That means coming down at 2AM to 4;30AM and tying a shirt on a chair or throwing a hotel slipper on five chairs. Other than this chaos the place is really good. Wife and I figured this out over 5 days. You will not believe it until you see it. Every front row chair is taken at 6AM and not one person occupying the chair.

    Best Staff On Island

best staff on island! We feel so fortunate to stay at this resort and hope it never changes! The staff go above board to be helpful to guests and that is my favorite part of the stay. The walkability factor is great.

    Small family friendly resort

The Club is not actually on the beach, but very close by. A short walk will take you to a small sandy beach with snorkelling possibility, though not the best on the island. The units are large and well equipped, though have a slightly dated feel. The televisions are internet connected and have Netflix if you have a login. A decent sized swimming pool and a tennis court are available. The staff are very friendly and there is a good programme of events all week. To explore the island from here a car is advisable, though using local buses would also be possible. There supermarkets near by and plenty of restaurants and other stores.

    Not a Resort

We were expecting a resort experience but this is NOT a resort. Our accommodations were very clean but after discovering there there was no elevator and the beach has literally dried up, we were so disappointed that we cut our vacation short.
