  What an experience!!

  What a great find the Soco hotel is- everyone is so friendly & helpful. The rooms have great sea views, the beds are really comfortable with pillows so soft😊 The food is all freshly cooked and really tasty. We have just had a very enlightening rum tasting session with Michelle which was great fun and really worth doing to see which rum suits you best!!! I am now going for a little nap 🤣🤣🤣

  Great stay - perfect location

  This is our second visit to the Soco, we stayed last year pre cruise and returned for a slightly longer stay pre cruise this year. Last year we had a ground floor room which we really liked but this year enjoyed a room on the second floor this time. Food remains very good, everything is cooked to order - if anything the portions are too large, even when I asked for a small portion. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. We hope to be back.

  Mixed experiences.

  Just home after 10 day stay at Soco with mixed experiences. Some very good, some less so. Positives are beautiful views from our room (303), wonderful staff especially the amazing Michelle and great location for the beach. Bar area good and staff excellent. Less positive was the cockroach eggs found in our room on penultimate day and listening to 2 other guests who had found cockroach in their room. Room was treated and eggs removed immediately and I understand sometimes these things happen. Less positive was no contact from senior management which I would have expected although desk staff apologised. I found the food to be good. Only downside to served meals were occasionally longer waiting. Found sunbeds and parasols were just enough and shade good on beach. Tip for other travellers is take beach shoes to swim as quite a lot of stones.

  A great all inclusive experience at the Soco Hotel!

  A lovely hotel with a perfect location by the beach with friendly staff and excellent food and accomodation. Rooms were cleaned daily and the restaurant offered a good selection of meals to choose from each day. Special mention to Shane, Zak and Michelle behind the bar who were so helpful and friendly and don't miss out on Michelle's rum tasting experience which in 3 words was educational, entertaining and fun! Also big thanks to Shaniqua on the front desk who was really helpful throughout our stay. Would definetly come back to this hotel we had a great holiday there. The view from our room on the 3rd floor looking out to the ocean was amazing and you are so close to the sea, beautiful.

  Unfortunate experience.

  This hotel has a beautiful location on the beach with great views of the ocean. Beyond that, it is not worth visiting. The hotel claims to be a "luxury boutique hotel". I would strongly disagree. The service is awful. Of the 10-12 employees that we interacted with, only 3 of them were polite and helpful. The others acted like they did not want us to be there. It is an all-inclusive experience, yes. However, the menu at the one restaurant on the property is very limited, and as mentioned the employees serving you don't make you feel welcome. The liquor selection is subpar at best. Stoli was the highest level of vodka available, and they ran out our first night. They had no bourbon. Lastly, we had a problem checking in to our room. It was not ready by the posted time of 3:00. After numerous complaints I simply sat in the lobby until our room was ready. I was told that the manager would contact me about this to listen to my point of view. She never contacted me and when I asked about it, I was told that she had a couple of days off. Very convenient. In short, I would never stay there again. It is not worth the high cost to stay there.
