    Lalo - our thanks!

First of all - great thanks to our concierge Lalo - without whom we would be lost in this gigantic hotel, with no dime spared on its intricate architecture. It’s our more than 30th time in Mexico in as many years and this one is the best by design. Can’t wait to see what it will become after complete rehab:) Lalo organized all our day activities - we only had to wake up, and do it:) Presidential week was the busiest time and it showed. Not enough sitting space around pool; this is “reserve” section I’m talking about. Outdated gazebos are not bad ideas, but when it’s not enough for every guests - come on. Hope remodeling will bring it up to the class of hotel. People don’t have to get up at 6am to “mark” their spots. More umbrellas - way more! Food - the very cozy cafe in reserve dome was great. The long lines in buffet were terrible, and food mediocre. Dinners were better - the interiors outstanding. Entertainment - I would say one of the best we experienced. Professional troops are beating the “actors of stuff” in other hotels hands down. And lastly - there is tennis court. May I suggest to make 3 pickleball courts in its place instead? Like both neighboring Marriotts? Or struck a deal with them to allow guests visits, for a fee maybe? Who plays tennis now days🤣 We’ll - that’s my 5 cents, and I can bring a team of pickle friends with families if the last cent will be implemented:) Thank you for reading - Jeff S., Chicago

Great stay at the Paradisus Cancun!

Spent a really great week at Paradisus in Cancun - only our second time in Mexico (stayed at the excellent Paradisus Play Del Carmen last year) and loved our Melia experience again. Stayed in the adults only Reserve and were really well looked after by our concierge and all the team. Restaurants were great (special mention to Lemon Fish and Ginger Bar) and the pool side service at Sante bar in the Reserve was outstanding. Lots of opportunities to relax but enough special events and activities to entertain - tequila tasting at Ginger bar was fun as was the sunset cruise on the last night. Room was nice and the ocean view was beautiful - so close to the water and the beach along the front of the hotel was nice and not too busy. Thoroughly recommend the Paradisus Cancun for location, service and restaurants!

Paradisus All Inclusive (non - Reserve)

Overall resort experience was very good. Stayed on non-reserve side, but had a personal concierge to assist us each day with whatever we needed, which was great! The one downside was that on rooms on the lagoon side of the resort are impacted by noise from nightclubs across the main thoroughfare. It disrupted our sleep on The Weeknd as the noise did not stop until after 3am. That should be shared with guests when booking so that they are aware. While it might be okay for some, it definitely soured our experience to some degree. The beach and water were beautiful, just like out of a brochure. Loved it. Food was okay, not great, but good enough. The reservation process could be a pain, but with the personal concierge he took care of all of that for us.
