From the snow to the Beach!
Right at the sea with small shops and restauranrs around. Walking distance to the big and posh hotels. Very kind service, especially to mention Sem. Fair rooms, good location. Beach resort with chairs, etc. Watertaxi tour to discover the surroundings. Always worth to repeat.

Great location- not 4 star hotel
We checked into the Sonesta for a 3 night stay. There were definitely positive attributes. Oceanview room was an amazing view, great location on A1A and just a 15 min walk from south hotel strip. Good restaurant onsite with delivery to pool area. Now for the part that makes it 3 stars. 1 the bathroom shower is very small. There is no room to turn around. Husband 5”11 220 and could barely fit. The worst part was that our thermostat stopped working the second night so we froze at 62 degrees in the room. Hotel sent a technician up but he couldn’t fix it so they gave us a space heater for the third night. Not a great experience. Finally a minor insult was that there was zero complimentary coffee in the lobby. There was a vending machine with coffee for $7 but we just went to the green tortuga down the block which was much better. Pool was fine. Small and seemed to be some shade during times of afternoon. No view but that’s not a big deal since beach was across the road. All in all 3 star hotel not a 4 star. If you get a good price point per night then good location.

Need a cabana for the day?☀️
We booked a cabana for the day @ Sonesta Ft. Lauderdale Beach when we arrived several hours before check in at our hotel. The clean and cozy pool area with close access to the beach was perfect. Terrance provided excellent service and accommodated our requests upon arrival. Highly recommend that you check them out!

A lion dressed as a V.I.P. sheep
Well… how do I start? 1.- this hotel is pet friendly, I’m not against it, but I will love that that was included in the description. 2.- when you open the door of your room is like entering the aisle of Clorox, lit is unbreathable. Ps: the room doesn’t include windows that can be opened. 3.- well if you think that it has a great location, you are right is in front of the beach, but also is in a terrible neighborhood lit you can go outside torn left and you have a tarot reader and as well a main avenue. Ps: if you come with a sooo workaholic person this hotel has a great solution, you could finish the construction of the parking lot. 4.- if your thing is not the ocean or beach you can go to the pool of this hotel, but keep in mind that the size of the pool is almost a bird bath. At least the showers of the pool are private and good in general. Ps: If u r frying in ur room at night because of the hot air, u can go and seat at the corner of the pool and have some fresh air. 5.-you have included a 2 beach chair and 2 towels per room, but if you want one with a beach umbrella you must break your pig and take the money because you will need it. Ps: this chair is available until 16:30, so you better wake up with the rooster. ROOM 1.-my family and I started in a room on the 12 floor, good news you don’t need and alarmed. The hotel or the persons that are on floor PH will start to move things or make noises. 2.- if you don’t like to be next to or light by fake sun, don’t worry, most of the lamps in the room are not working. 3.- if you like extreme weather temperatures this is your hotel, the air conditioning is just unreasonable. You could be in the Antarctic and in a few minutes be in a tropical jungle. 4.- if when you were little like playing with Polly Pocket o Barbie house, this bathroom is your dream come true. First, you have a half-tinted window that is directly to the bed so you can see the shadows and smell them very well. And if you want to do hard work you could repair the bathroom door, because it sounds lit if you have entered to the 3th movie of the exorcist, and the lock of the door has the same trust as you can have with Judas. RESTAURANT 1.- the breakfast is understandable as tropical weather food, someday there will be a buffet and other are with a menu, so test your luck. 2.- if you are a pepper lover you will be in your sauce. POSITIVE 1-. The receptionists are so sweet, helpful, and nice, with any problem you have they will give you a solution. I have to recognize and highlight Margo, she is the type of receptionist that you have dreamed of having. 2.- the view of this hotel is so stunning that you feel like you are in paradise. 3.- the housekeeper does an excellent service, nothing to complain about. 4.- the welcoming of the staff is just a feeling I can’t explain, some members of my family don’t speak English, the employees have so amazing attitude with them, trying to explain in Spanish even if they don’t know or are trying to understand, that really makes the difference for the reason that they make them feel included, listen and that your opinion or needs matter. In the end, our stay including all the negative aspects was great and we had a lovely and wonderful vacation. Ps: Mostly because of the beach, not the hotel.

TIPS 1.- learn quickly the name of the workers because in my case when we check in they said go and call xxx and give him this thing to get you your baggage to your room. 2.-don’t come with expectations that is a four-star hotel because it needs a lot of stuff to get there. 3. If you are hungry and don’t want to eat at the restaurant you have a small closet in the lobby to buy normal snacks at an expensive price. 4,- if you have a a security lock for hotel rooms bring it, it will be very but very useful. 5.- if you are a human being and need water to survive remember that the hotel only gives you 2 tiny bottles of water and for the rest, you must pay for only 8 dollars each one ( that could be found in any market in a package of 6 bottles for 8 dollars) 6.- if you have to use the computer of the hotel for any reason, you must turn into a professional typer since you have 15 min to use it. RESTAURANT 1.- the breakfast is understandable us tropical weather, someday there will be a buffet and other are with a menu, so test your luck. 2.- if you are a pepper lover you will be in your zone.
