Enjoy the best fine dining in La Fortuna, Arenal in our incredible restaurant Las Ventanas where the only thing better than the view is the food. Be careful to avoid the window seats if you are afraid of heights because the windows are angled out to allow you to look almost straight down a thousand feet to the river below! At night the distant mountains twinkle with the lights of cities thirty miles away. Be sure to dine here at least once during the day and once during the evening to capture the complete experience.

Our gourmet buffet restaurant would be appropriately described as a “Tasting” experience. Here you will sample to your heart’s content a complete salad bar with our signature dressings, hot and cold soups of the day, assorted fresh baked breads, and a selection of hot entrée items of which a few will be specially prepared for you right at the buffet. The menu changes daily and may tend toward Italian one day to Asian the next. Our dessert bar offers small bite size portions to minimize your guilt while sampling them all and, of course, maybe returning for an extra piece of your favorite. Fresh fruit juices, tea and coffee are included. Even though it is a buffet you will have a waiter attending to your every need. We like to refer to it as a “Full Service Gourmet Buffet”.

The resort is gorgeous and we had so much fun. The service was fantastic, especially Paola! She made this trip incredibly special! She is an amazing bartender and kept us all laughing. She was the best bartender we’ve ever had. Thank you for the spectacular time.

Luxurious and Quiet Resort
Highly recommend this place. Very large. Great options for various hot springs. Love the ones by the river. Very private. Not crowded at all. I love this place and Tabacon. Lots of trees and nature. Food is pretty good, especially breakfast.

Fabulous!
What a great resort from top to bottom. A perfect spot for young families. There is tons to do for all ages. The only bite is that they charge you for every activity so if you have children it can be very costly. Rooms are large, grounds are amazing. You can hike the property and see all types of wildlife. There are sloths that live on the property and it was a treat to see them. A great spot.

Monkey Slide For the Win!
Our family of five (three children 9 and under) spent a lot of time at the hot springs at the Springs resort. We had the absolute best experience.. beautiful atmosphere, great pizza and drinks. What really made our experience extra special was the staff, especially Loui and Luis at the monkey slide. They were so kind, fun and engaging to our three young boys. When we returned the next day, they remembered our boys’ names and our boys were excited to see their new friends at the slide. Thanks to Loui and Luis for making it an exceptional experience!

Incredible stay at the Springs
Our family of four just left this spectacular resort and we had the best time!! There are so many highlights to name and most have already been mentioned by previous reviews. We have several friends from back home in Ft Lauderdale who had stayed here and highly recommended this property, so I had high expectations and it did not disappoint! Standouts include Esteban, who gave us our welcome tour. Max, one of the bartenders, was awesome. Dinner at Las Ventanas our last evening was delicious with outstanding service. The hot springs are so relaxing and the drinks are tropical and refreshing. River tubing was a blast! The animal sanctuary and cat feeding was very cool for my animal loving 10 year old. Ping pong tables down at Club Rio were a hit too! Game room for my boys to have some down time, dart board, chess, and a pool table were all well used by our family as well. Our room was incredibly spacious and the view of the volcano was unreal, like a painting. Hammocks on the patio were a great touch. Housekeeping and turndown service were great. Having free laundry machines on our floor was so awesome to get laundry done and helped us to pack light for our trip. We will definitely return and in the meantime, we’ll be telling all of our friends about this place!
