Sep 16, 2025Small debit/credit issue but the best cheap hotel
This is the ONLY place I stay, and I was coming every two weeks at one point, so I would say I’m a loyal visitor… after maybe my 6th stay… they would not let me use a debit card to check in, I only had to use my credit card.. which I needed for my car and other rentals. They made it a huge issue and said they would do it this time only but next time.. use my credit card idk why. I’ve used my debit card countless times .. why the switch up? The rooms are cool, small bathrooms but you get what you pay for, staff isn’t the nicest, there is one aunty who might be nice one day or not, I don’t blame her. The parking can get pricey and you have to pay per day. The laundry is a very cool plus, and our favorite is the want chung bar downstairs which is a Kareoke bar and rainbow friendly . It’s walking distance to the beach and shops. I still love this hotel, I hope our next stay goes smoother.

Jul 25, 2025Nasty dirty smelly
Booked a room for me and my wife..1st issue it was no parking..after I paid for it!..Second the place smells..so we went up to get ready for our night out and the room smelled like mildew..the carpet was nasty and it looked and smelled like a dirty cheap motel..so we instantly went back down stairs to go somewhere else and they told me that they would not be refunding us..after only 5 minutes upstairs 0/10 don't go!!!

Absolutely a dump!!!
The absolute worst hotel ever. The price for 2 twin beds for 3 nights non refundable was $708. You learn very quickly why it non-refundable. It is a freaking dump. Absolutely fithy. Parking is $45 per night. Another absolute rip off. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

For information purposes only: 1. There is ONLY 1 washer and dryer 2. Parking is NOT guaranteed a. I believe there is ONLY 7-8 medium sized parking b. You cannot RESERVE parking in advance or at time of BOOKING c. You can only get parking if there is availability and FIRST COME FIRST SERVER AT THE COUNTER. Great location. One block away from the beach and main street. Friendly and Helpful staff. One room, had only one 1-2 HP AC on the corner floor. You can imagine, if it is Heat peak season. The room will not cool. You will need to circulate the air to the end of the room with something like a fan. It had Jalousie windows.

The Worst Hotel I’ve Ever Stayed in!
Probably the worst hotel or place I have ever stayed in! And I have travelled the world so that’s saying something! I don’t even know where to start it was so bad! It Looked absolutely nothing like the pics posted on their website or online! Our room was so small we couldn’t even put our cases on the floor to open them we had to put them on our beds! It was like a cupboard or prison cell with two small single beds placed in an ‘L’ shape along the width & breadth of the room! There wasn’t even enough space to place the beds parallel to each other in any direction! It must of been maybe 6 foot by 10 foot! I kid you not! I had no tape measure to get an accurate measurement but I’m going by the size of the beds & how they were placed to conclude that! It may have been smaller as the beds were small But I’m guessing they are standard 6’ beds! There wasn’t even a light in the room! There was a dim floor lamp with not enough light to see anything & with no windows (just a small air vent window like in a bathroom) at the back of the room) & no natural light, We had to use our phone torches to see anything! And there was nowhere to put our stuff! No table to place our phones next to the beds as the room could not accommodate even a small table or cupboard next to the beds so we had to put our phones etc in the floor next to us! It felt like we were in prison! The volume on the TV was so low you couldn’t even hear it & there was no way to increase the volume as the remote did not have any volume buttons! So you basically we had to lip read the TV! There were no plugs to accommodate our chargers to charge our phones, the only one was the lamp & we needed that as it was the only light! The only one we could use was the aircon plug so had to unplug that to get our phones charged! And in such a small room with no windows in Waikiki, it was a nightmare! A very hot nightmare! The whole thing was unreal! I have never stayed anywhere so bad in my life! It was more like a hostel than a hotel room, but even hostels have lights! The bathroom was so small you had to keep the door open to brush your teeth & the shower was hidden behind the door! My friend & I struggled to share the space with 2 large suitcases it was Awful! Total con! We only stayed one night & wouldn’t have even done that if we could have got somewhere else, but it was too late in the evening when we arrived so had to grin & bare it! We were there a total of 9hrs! And that was 9hrs too long in that room! Awful! We did not get what we payed for & was absolutely nothing like how they advertised! False advertising! Buyer beware! Avoid like the plague!
