  Happy Chemo patient

  Still here really enjoyed tonight’s pirate show. The choreography was amazing we were entranced by the mermaids. The staff has taken great strides to make our trip fantastic. I just went through chemo treatment and have been very comfortable with the rental of the Bali bed. Antonio has taken great care of us. Here are the names of some of the excellent waitstaff Ari, Arturo treated us like royalty, Alicia, Alejandro, Carmen at snack truck, Juana, Miriam, Manny works very hard, Honorio,Cesar sets up the weddings. Hector,Adilene and Rogeur at Damarios. Ignacio is always attentive . Barracuda crew Geo, silvano, Irving, and Luis. Sorry too many. Oops forgot arrivals Bruno, Raul, and Sandra from UVC. There are many others whose names I did not memorize. Javier and Patricia from blue water restaurant .jose Luis , Margarito,Karina,Dianett, and beautiful Adriana who works in the kitchen. There is a young man at windows restaurant who is very cordial and he is so elegantly quiet that I really appreciate his name is madian. Our rooms were kept clean by Adelfa and bethsabe. I loved our vacation. The food was Good too!

  A nice place with nice staff

  Sunscape Dorado is a really nice hotel, with lots of long chairs to bask in the sun. The pool was perfectly refreshing. The staff was very nice, especially Christian who made sure we were happy with our last dinner. The room was always clean, thanks to Yesica. The coffee place was a nice touch. Only down side : the waves are really strong so swimming in the ocean is not always recommended. Also as vegetarians, we thought there was not many options. However, the staff was understanding and modified some of the menu for us.

  Old and new friends trip

  Liked the stay at sunscape dorado, really appreciate the service and the friendly atmosphere, got to do a couple of activities including bike riding and hanging out with friends. Yessica, Jovanni and the riding company was really relaxing and enjoyable, appreciate the knowledge of the whole riding trip thanks for the opportunity to spent some really good quality times 🙌

  Pleasantly surprised great price

  First visit to a Sunscapes resort. We chose it because it was very affordable. Normally we go to Secrets or Dreams and we love these resorts. My husband and I wanted an affordable getaway. I was nervous to go to a Sunscapes. I was incredibly happy with the value we received. Our room was small but very clean. The AC worked perfectly. The hot water worked wonderfully. There was a lit makeup mirror in the bathroom. We had a lovely little balcony. The food was good, Not bad, not awesome, and I always found something to eat, and I was never hungry. The service was good. We had Sunclub rooms and were happy we had the use of the Sunclub beach and Sunclub breakfast and lunch area. We had to get a beach chair by 7:00 to get a good spot in the shade. Ignacio (Nacho) and Emmanuel were the best servers we met. They had incredible energy and big smiles. They made us feel special and welcome. I wish everyone had the same smiles and attitude. I was surprised there weren’t more a la cart restaurants open for dinner. Never more than 2 and often only 1 plus the menus never changed. That being said the food was fine. I am a picky eater and I was always able to find something good to eat. I did have a terrible foot messages at the spa and my husband had a head massage. No pressure at all. I asked for more pressure and it didn’t change. I’d recommend skipping the spa. If you are looking for an affordable vacation and don’t mind skipping the variation and luxury you’ll receive for thousands more dollars at Secrets or Dreams then you’ll be pleased with Sunscapes. I prefer Secrets but I loved the price at Sunscapes.

  Didn't know what to expect but have now found the perfect winter getaway!

  Very clean and excellent service from all staff. The easy access to the beach sand and surf and the beauty of the bay is worth the trip. There's 5 places to eat - don't forget the food truck hot dogs! And don't forget the all inclusive food and alcohol ae all inclusive. A nice gesture was having our bed linens and towels changed daily. Laundry service is very affordable and comes back professionally done. We didn't know what to expect as first-timers in the area but now we plan to return to this hotel. There are also wonderful restaurants across the street. We booked a 5 1/2 hour tour of a working farm where we learned a lot about growing various fruits, visited a traditional way of making roof tiles and construction bricks, and had a fabulous shrimp lunch at a beach restaurant 45 minutes away; this tour is highly recommended.
