We really enjoy at sunscape Ixtapa ,Karina Valencia thank you for everything we are looking forward to see you again,all the activities are nice and the gym is great, swimming pool are fantastic,all the food is delicious,see you , bye have a nice day

Highly recommend!
Everyone was incredible genuinely one of the best customer service i’ve ever experienced! Yajaira was super nice :) Food is really good. Hotel is clean and comfortable. All the staff seems to care about making the stay as comfortable as possible.

While the staff and customer service were great, the resort and its offerings left more to be desired. The rooms themselves were fine - comfortable bedding, great water pressure in the shower, consistent house keeping and service. We had a wonderful view of the ocean from our family connecting room, so we were pleased with the accommodations. My main complaint would be the food options available for a family with younger children. This hotel brand has several options that cater to an adult-only experience - Sunscape is not that option and promotes itself as being the resort option that caters to families with younger kids. Unfortunately that wasn't the case when it came to dinner options and nightly entertainment. The only sit down restaurant on the property was the outdoor grill - which was average at best, and offered a very limited menu. The other dinner option was the buffet - which was always crowded and offered limited variety for children. The Italian restaurant is not kid friendly - only offered to adults and families with children 12+. In my opinion, you shouldn't book this resort with an expectation for adult-only experiences and blocking a whole restaurant when you only have two sit-down options to choose from is disappointing. If you must, offer an adult only "section" of a restaurant. The kids waterpark was great for my kids (7, 3) and the main pool was entertaining with the bigger slides for our group. However, the kids korner bar was hardly ever staffed, so my kids had to order daiquiris at the adult bar during the day. Do not rely on operating hours for the Kid Korner bar or the Snack Truck (opened late consistently and didn't open at all one day). The night-time entertainment was nonexistent for smaller children. The first night we arrived there was a movie on the small grass area by the Explorer's Club (Moana in Spanish), but that was all. The Explorer Club during the day offered a few activities - my kids participated in rock climbing wall, which was ok - but considering they came in from the pool to change into dry clothes and shoes to just be allowed to climb once was disappointing. The group was small and the activity was blocked for an hour - the kids could have easily went multiple times, but it was told to me that the experience was only offered one time per child. After reading reviews before booking, this resort experience was as expected. Most feedback is consistent with what we experienced so we were not surprised. Overall - great location we went off property twice for dinner and during the day to shop. It always felt safe and there were different options. The beach views were great, accommodations in room were as expected and pool areas were perfect for entertaining the family during the day.

we just stayed at this place for 2 weeks. I decided on this resort despite reading mixed reviews and it ended up being really good so I'll try to highlight the positives and negatives of our stay cons: - the pool can be a bit loud with the music and daily water activities so if you want it to be quieter sit at the beach or more by the barracuda bar - not many Mexican food options at Bluewater grill which is a bit disappointing - service at Bluewater grill was hit or miss, sat there waiting for service for awhile a couple times at lunch but service was better at dinner - nightly entertainment was a bit lacking, one night was a fire show and Mexican night was good but not much other than that - low water pressure in the shower, getting shampoo out of your hair can be a bit difficult pros: - check in/check out were so smooth! there was no one in front of us so check in took a couple minutes then we were in our room, check out was the same just gave them our room card and that was it - towels, no towel cards here so you just give them your room number and get fresh towels then drop them in a bit when you're done - location, right across from restaurants and markets and a quick drive into zihua - the room, clean and it looks like the bedding and paint have been recently updated and very fresh looking. the bathroom is nice with walk in shower with a bench, daily stocked mini bar, also I chose the base partial ocean view and had a good ocean view - the food, typical breakfast options which was good and dinner buffet had pretty good variety including a make your own pasta which was really good, teppenyaki was also quite tasty, pastor tacos to order, and make your own taco station. we ate at the Italian restaurant twice which I enjoyed but my partner didn't. overall good food options and tasted good - pool and beach. beach is quite beautiful, wide and lots of room to walk in either direction and the sand is so soft! the pool has a great swim up bar, it's partially covered by a palapa so it has some much needed shade also has a good amount of stools and a wrap around seating area around it. raymundo and Simon also make really good drinks and keep the vibe fun. loungers are pretty easy to find actually but definitely try to get one with an umbrella, the sun is intense here! - service around the pool and beach, if you're sitting around the pool or in a beach cabana there's constantly someone coming by to see if you need a drink, very impressive service! - lobby bar, I like to watch sports and the lobby bar has all the sports channels so we watched some hockey games there with some other guests which was fun and it has a great vibe overall this place was really good, it has a lot of positives and a few mostly minor negatives and I'd certainly stay here again if I came back to the area

Sunclub experience
We had a great time. Upgraded to the Sunclub. Great room on 21 floor with an ocean view. Beds were very comfortable. Pool was amazing. Sunclub beach and lounge area was excellent and worth the upgrade. Having the private upgraded beach area and private restaurant and bar was wonderful. We got to know the amazing Sunclub Lounge staff who looked after us every day & Odette, Alicia, Emmanuel, Ignacio, Misael and Pedro. The sand is amazing, water is clean. The only downside is the surf was rough but we walked down to the end of the beach by the rocks to swim and it was lovely.
