    Beautiful getaway

Everything was wonderful from the food to the service. The rooms were outdated, but the mattress was awesome and sleep is the only reason we were in our room. The activities were fun and you can tell they try to hit every age level in that preparation. The beach access, sports and amenities were excellent. I would recommend you bringing a hairdryer, if you require one. I requested one on the days I needed it, but it didn't arrive timely.

    Bad service, bad food

I would never stay here again. Staff is not responsive and unwilling to resolve issues with the room when we told them something was wrong as soon as we had arrived. Our air conditioning was leaking and it flooded the entire room and they did nothing about it, they just made it worse. Plus the service from the staff is not good and the food is terrible.

    Cozumel Sunscape Horror

Don't Go! Based on pictures on the website, it looked really great. We go there and the room had no working A/C. We called for it to be looked at and went to dinner, when we came back, still no A/C, so had to call to get our room changed. The new room's A/C worked, but there was no ice bucket or hairdryer, when we called no one answered the phone, so we had to go get these from the desk ourselves. The mini-fridge, only stocked with water after the first day, you couldn't get a can or bottle of anything else after day 1, you had to go to the bar to get anything in a glass to drink. The food - terrible. They had a Mexican Restaurant and a buffet, that's it and they are only open for specific times, there was no where in between you could get a sandwich, snacks or anything else. The food was terrible, the buffet served Mexican and they had a Mexican restaurant, really! We had go go off resort almost every lunch and dinner unless we wanted the same thing, because it was the same thing day after day. The only thing we enjoyed was the spa, but that was next door at Secrets. BEWARE - they hit you up for one of those time-share presentations as soon as you arrive, don't fall for it. Go into town, see the Island, that was nice. Alberto's on the beach is great, take a drive around the Island, go to the ruins, scuba or snorkel, those things were fun. Take pesos, everywhere you go if you have dollars, each place has their own "exchange" rate, so convert to pesos before you go, that way there is no question on what you are paying.

Don't waste your money for a poor experience!

Don't waste your money! the hotel doesn't cover my expectation, it is not a 5 starts resort. it suppose the hotel is part of the Hyatt chain, so I hoped a standard on facilities, cleaning, food etc. it is a old small hotel, lack of maintenance, it is not worth the cost, the food and beverage are very bad, almost disgusting, the restaurants are not clean, the attention in general is poor. It was stupid expensive for the poor experience. No recommended. 👎

    Less than expected experience

I was expecting more... maybe Dreams and Secrets are better. I travelled with my wife and friends, booking 3 rooms using UVC membership. The service manager asked us to stay away during the checking process, when I had booked 2 rooms and my wife 1 room, so we need to stay together to identify everybody. My wife claimed him to understand the situation and be more polite. The rooms were clean and confortable. Beach was stunning, we enjoyed the sunset so much. Water activities very good. Pool acceptable. Food is ok, can be better, specially in the Seaside Grill, which is very small and always they have waiting list of 20 min or more... lobby and parking OK, I drove my rental car and parked there. Gym and Spa good.
