Beautiful and Friendly Resort.
Can’t say enough great things about this resort. Easy to get to. Shuttle available for free. Taxis outside. Staff were beyond amazing, grounds were perfect, food was amazing, rooms were nice, and I can’t wait to come back. 10/10 recommend.

Friendly and clean with beautiful views
Beautiful resort, VERY friendly staff, rooms were clean and spacious, drinks were tasty, and the buffet at both the Tamarijn and Divi were delicious! The loss of one star is the fact that it's an all-inclusive, but 2 of the 5 nights we were there, we could not get any dinner reservations at the onsite restaurants. We tried booking online via the app 2 days prior as we were told the reservations open, and even went to the dining concierge to assist. The odd part is that the concierge can't really help you directly- they have to send a message to the restaurant and then get back to you. A bit unusual that there is no master schedule. The resort does book a restaurant of their choosing the evening of your arrival, and that was Paparrazi for us. The wait staff were SO friendly. But only 1 of us in a group of 5 liked their meal. The food here was disappointing. The buffets were superior to this restaurant experience, taste-wise. We would go back though, because it was a great atmosphere and for all the positives aforementioned.

A room with a view, a real view!
Wow! This resort was great. We loved the view from our room, the beach was heavenly, food was great! Drinks were poured and served with a smile. Staff were wonderful. I loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. Since we were only there 4 nights we didn’t get to sight see on the island because the resort was just too good to leave. To keep it real, minor things that weren’t *perfect*… the bathroom was small and felt tight, the beach was a bit rocky and we wished we had brought water shoes, lots of birds fighting over your food at the pool bar area, there was very little entertainment/activities and we only found one area to exchange our towels. Like I said, minor inconveniences that didn’t ruin our stay.

Quite the nice little getaway.
Note: we are very used to All-Inclusive resorts. Random thoughts follow. For the most part, things were fine or better. Used the booking app on the way down but no need every other day. Let the concierge book two days at a time. 1) Airline lost lost our luggage which arrived on day 5 of our weeks trip. Milka at the front desk hands us souvenir tops (2 each) for something to wear. 2) STRAGE. Never had an empty fridge in a room before. No, they will not stock & NO they will not give us pop or alcohol, even though it's complimentary 3) We liked having very experienced servers in most of the places. Some were in their 60's. 4) On realizing we were Canadian, many, many Americans said "we are soo sorry, please forgive us". No Prob, we know. 5) The Tam buffet is only open for Brekkie & Lunch. Both plentiful & assorted every day. Mimosas are only included on Sundays. Go to the Dinner buffet at the DIVI (free sister resort) very Good. 6) Be very hungry if you book a meal the CLUB MARGOT. Pour some comped Sparkling wine while you wait. It's a fixed menu with NO exceptions. Awesome breads FOLLOWED BY SIX tapas (small portions): ribs, shrimp, pasta, raw tuna, fancy salads, ETC. FOLLOWED BY THREE main courses; beef bourgignon, scallop/shrimp rice & 3 cheese linguini. NEXT was Dessert (photo below). Warm chocolate is being poured onto the 3 solid chocolate containers to slowly melt & expose the various goodies. Four kinds of ice creams are around the outside. We staggered home after this one. THANKS to Johnathan for explaining our way thru it all. 7) STRANGE There is a very confusing Espresso machine in the rooms but regular coffee can ONLY be found in one machine in each lobby. Look for the line-up. 8) VERY STRANGE There are three restaurants around each of the lobbies NONE of which have their own washrooms! Go out to the lobby again, maybe not too much of a line-up. 9) GOLF was a write-off, expensive, course baked dry with minimal upkeep, no beverage cart but water stations around. Huge pro-shop if you are shopping. 10) Pickleball did not get much attention. Paddles/balls available in the kids play-area. Concrete courts had balls cracking & 35km winds down the court prevented me from getting most serves back across the net (Seriously). 11) Room was nice/clean Our 1st set of beach towels was waiting for us on the bed Nice touch. Plenty of towels/ body wash/shampoo/conditioners/etc. Pillows big with no give at all. Good luck, if you are side sleeper. 12) GINGER was our fav meal out. Very good thai choices. Thanks to Jasmin & Marwin (2nd visit). 13) Pizzas at the Pool Bar were yummy. Everywhere we had the drinks gave us good service & strong ones! Thanks Jorge. To us the MEXICAN FRIES were pretty sad. Melted Chez Whiz & Guac on the simple chips. 14) Brekkie outside was always pleasant. Plus service from both Miguelina & Marcelino. 15) Other meals; Papparazzi (Italy), Pure Lime(Mex), Red Parrot (Internatl) were what we expected. 16) Book the 1/2 day tour of the island with Farley, if you can. Great knowledge & entertainment. 17) Spent little time in the Casino. quite large for a resort one. No smoking, YAY. 18) Local beer & the resort wine offerings were quite decent. 19) Never went near the pools, Sun & Ocean time for us. Some, sand, some weeds, some rocks Hope this helps a bit. ASK us if needed. CHEERS to all

We had an amazing stay
We had an amazing week at Tamarijn! I say this as a comparison to previously staying at Holiday Inn. They make Holiday Inn seem like it was child’s play. The staff and property were just overall AMAZING and when we visit Aruba again we will absolutely stay here! Our room was in the 2500’s so we had a beautiful setup. Beautiful sandy beach that went right out to the water, no rocks whatsoever. I can’t say enough great things about the staff- reception, concierge, the bar, the restaurants, the shops- just wow. They were by far 10 stars. They remembered us, often by name and personalized everything. Even my 8 year old said how much it made her feel special. Food- this is my 1 and only complaint. The Tamarijn and Divi could definitely do better in how they are set up for reservations. They are not setup for the mass amount of people that stay there and it was very difficult to get reservations. We did not get to eat everywhere we wanted to because they were booked. The restaurants book out multiple nights in advance. Yes, concierge will help but only so much. They rely on having the buffet as a backup and honestly the buffet dinner at Pelican was eh. Not what you expect for what you pay for the resort. It was so clean and well cared for. There is always someone around to help and guide you. Even the guests act like friends and family here. Overall we cannot wait to come back!
