Dec 21, 2024Temptations Cancun continues to impress
Another great stay at Temptations Cancun. Keeps on impressing. This is my 6th time there and I had a blast. Went during the tower takeover and the people were great. Great to see familiar faces and new ones as well. Shout outs to a couple of people: Dulce at the al carte breakfast, wasn't my waiter but came over to say hi when she recognized me. Karla at the Coffee shop. Months go by and she still remembers what I order every morning. Charlie, the playmaker. This guy is funny, had me rolling during the pool games. I was disappointed in recent trips that the guys/girls running the games weren't as entertaining but it seems they fixed that. Him and JJ are some of the funniest dudes Ive ever seen. Was slightly disappointed by the party shows, the dancers are great, but in 3 nights I was there that's all the shows were. What happened to the fire girls, or the two muscle guys balancing on each other's heads? But the parties were still entertaining and I can't say that I didn't enjoy myself. Until next time

First time at Temptation - We will be back!
If you are looking for a party hotel with great energy and a good crowd, Temptation is the place for you! Since we are not party animals, we were a bit weary that it might just be too much for us. All that went away the minute we walked into the hotel. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff, prompt service and an awesome atmosphere. ATMOSPHERE / VIBE - It is unbeatable! To us, the vibe and the staff was the best part of our stay. The playmakers are the absolute best as they work hard to keep the vibe going. Not once did we feel uncomfortable. All of the guests we met were super friendly and totally respectul. ROOMS - The rooms have a modern decor that is unique and consistent with the rest of the hotel. We were actually surprised at how comfortable the mattress was. FOOD - The food buffet was OK for an all inclusive. The food at SHE, SUTRA and FLAME was excellent! STAFF - A special thanks to Yisselle (Concierge). We were celebrating an Anniversary / Birthday on this trip and wanted to surprise the wife with decorating the room upon our arrival. She was instrumental in setting that up for us exactly as I had requested. Thank you! A few other staff members deserve special recognition for their level of service and genuine care of guests; Benjamin at the sexy pool and Jesus at the bash bar as well as David at the breakfast and lunch buffets. Thank you Temptation for an amazing stay. We look forward to our NEXT stay!

Best Adults-only Resort Anywhere
Temptation never fails to be the most fun adults can legally have! We have lost count, but it was about our 26th trip in less than six years. Yes, we're addicted! The pool parties were awesome, and all the playmakers were amazing. Special shout out to JJ, the godfather of playmakers. Temptation wouldn't be Temptation without JJ Our fav restaurants are Sutra and Romanza. Please bring our longtime fav waiter, Sinue, back to Sutra! Special shout-out as well to Aldo at Romanza. He treated us like royalty! We had the best butlers: Ivan and Luis at the hotel and Mike at the pool! Can't wait to be there again! On our way now for two weeks of abusing our livers, nonstop parties, friends new and old, and fun

This was my 8th trip to this resort, and as a member, I’ve always enjoyed it. Overall, the trip was fun, but there were definitely areas where it fell short. Pros: The pool is always a highlight—up until 4 PM when the gangster rap starts playing like clockwork. While I enjoy a good party vibe, I’m in Mexico and would prefer something more fitting to the setting rather than the same rap tracks every day for 10 days straight. For context, we’re not old (ages 36-39), but it became tiresome quickly. The theme nights and shows are fun, but they’re starting to feel repetitive. However, I have to give a big shoutout to the bartenders at Bash in the lobby bar—they were fantastic (though I can’t recall their names). Special mentions go to Gerry, Adan, Tonio, Luigi, and Diago—these men work incredibly hard and always greet you with the biggest smiles. We absolutely love them! Also, Lincy at Flame, who was training at the time, did an amazing job as our server. David at the breakfast/lunch buffet was also fantastic and always took great care of us. Wendy at the pool UNREAL this woman works so hard and my drink was never empty I didn’t even need to ask her I love her so much. Mike and lily pool butlers also amazing love them both. Cons: Unfortunately, the food was disappointing this trip. The breakfast buffet had a very limited selection, and getting basics like scrambled eggs or bacon often meant waiting in long lines. The restaurants were mediocre, aside from She and Flame, which ironically used to be my least favorite but were the standouts this time. Another major downside was the behavior of some guests. I was grabbed by a man in the pool, right in front of my husband and friends. It was completely inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable. The membership perks have also gone downhill. Beneficiaries now receive almost nothing except a black bracelet, which feels like a slap in the face considering the investment many members have made (upwards of $30,000-$40,000). It’s clear they’re prioritizing quantity over quality. Additionally, the music volume could be toned down. Losing my voice from having to shout just to have a conversation is unnecessary and frustrating. Final Thoughts: While we still had fun—mostly because of the company we traveled with—I can’t help but feel that the resort is losing the charm that made it my favorite place to visit. The quality is slipping, and it’s sad to see so many changes that devalue the experience for loyal members. At this point, I feel like we could have the same amount of fun at any adults-only resort with better food and fewer frustrations.

Muy Caliente!!
Playmaker Caliente was absolutely the best! She was always so happy to see us and made our entire stay a great time. Playmakers Chocolate and Diego were also great. Bartender Benjamin in the Sky Lounge was amazing. He always remembered our drinks each day and would always have our refills ready without us asking. Food is horrible but if you want to party this is the place to stay.
