I've been to The Alex a few times now, and it's always been a brilliant stay. This time around, I had a lovely welcome at check-in with two friendly staff members, Samary and Alvaro. They were friendly and genuine, and our interaction was the best way to end a tiring day. Samary had a lovely gesture with me as a returning guest, which I really appreciated. The room was spotless, as always, and the bed and pillows are beyond comfortable. At breakfast, Abdul was my host, I've been served by him every stay, and he is very friendly while maintaining high standards of servic. No detail is missed. Breakfast service is quick and efficient as well as being delicious. The buffet has everything you need, but I would love it they would bring back the dark brown bread they used to provide. At check out, Simon was very helpful and friendly too, quick and efficient, just what you need when you're running out to the office.

W'ill come Back next time in Dublin
We had an amazing stay at The Alex Dublin. All of the staff - Zaida, Simon, ... - were exceptionally kind and warmly welcomed us. The room was very clean and well thought out so that everything you would need was easily accessible. Nice to have coffee/tea in the room. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

Super weekend away at The Alex
A great find in Dublin central city. Room was extremely comfortable and clean. Bed was super comfy! Simón was great, so welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend The Alex. Breakfast was great also. The decor was tasteful and very current.

Exceptional service
Spent three nights here as the start of our Honeymoon. I am very hard to please and cannot fault the service. Simon in particular is excellent in his role. Not only did he turn any potential stumbling block into a smooth road, but he made it seem like a delight and connected with us whilst doing so. His positive attitude is infectious. A few specifics: The cocktails in the bar are very good and worth trying. The bed was large and comfortable. Good quality buffet breakfast with exceptional honey, and staff easily accommodated a quite particular dietary requirement.

Short stay best welcome
Simon is the reason we’ve enjoyed staying here! He constantly went above and beyond to make sure we’re well accommodated for, I don’t think I’ve met a friendlier staff member in all my years of travelling. Simon was our four leaf clover we were truly lucky! The hotel was very clean, the interior was lovely, the location was stellar, would come back here 10/10 no complaints. You can definitely tell they pay attention to detail!
