Incredible place to enjoy relax and take care of yourself.
Can’t say enough about this place! The room was incredible! Every meal was delicious! My favourite dessert was the chocolate cake with the warm centre! Been to many resorts and this one was right there on top of my list of great places to relax. Had a fantastic bachata lesson at lizards pool with the entertainment staff! Relaxing mornings stretching and afternoons Aqua fitness with NRG2GO fitness! Staff were very friendly and they have a brand new big gym. Saw some beautiful brides getting their pics done. It was my first visit to a Mexican Resort and I am so glad it was at this place! I should also mention how clean this resort is! I was so impressed with the staff’s attention to detail and friendliness. I felt they went above and beyond to make my stay amazing.

Good hotel
Just returned from our second visit to this hotel. The first was five years ago and there have been some changes. Notably you can’t book the A La cartes now. Must say we struggled! The first night we were told the wait was two hours! And given a buzzer. After over an hour we went to see how much longer. The restaurant was half empty but we were told another hour. Eventually 30 minutes later we were buzzed. By this time we were past it A few days later we were randomly asked by the HR director how our holiday was going. Needless to say we gave her both barrels. She immediately took our names and room number and promised to get back to us. Enter Mr Chan! He booked the next day’s restaurant for us along with a couple of other’s. This made fir a more relaxing evening knowing when and where we would be eating The hotel is still as good. Very clean, friendly and immaculate grounds. Rooms are big and have every amenity The only other complaint is the plastic beakers. Cocktails don’t taste the same out of a plastic beaker! I don’t mind plastic but cocktail glasses please I must mention Cancun airport. What chaos! We waited an hour for our luggage then had to queue for an hour to have our bags searched for cigarettes! Then queue another 45 minutes outside for our TUI transfer. After landing at 3pm it was 6.30 pm before we arrived at our hotel. We will probably look at going to the Dominican Republic next time

Bringing a young kiddo? A swim-up suite will take your trip to the next level!
This place is family-vacation-perfection from the grounds to the sandy beach to the swim up pool patio at our suite! We spent a week at The Fives Beach with our young son (4) and had a fabulous experience. Everything about it was amazing - the room was large and luxurious, the room's patio had the most perfect, comfy reading chair/couch to curl up on. The swim up suite is just a GENIUS feature for those with young kids. There was a shallow area perfect for him right outside our door, and during naps/early bedtimes we could still enjoy the pool from the comfort of our room! The food was delicious, with so many great options. The restaurants even had kid's menus making dinning with a little one so easy. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Truly a wonderful place to visit as a family! The grounds have SO much to offer. Perfectly manicured and filled with lovely touches. Like the wooden boardwalk through the resort where you can spot turtles, birds, monkeys and iguanas! They have done an amazing job creating a welcoming and comfortable space for families and couples alike. We felt like they thought of everything... Want to see a fire show? No problem. Need a babysitter? Fives Kids Club has you covered. Crave some activity? Play basketball or tennis or join a yoga class. Thirsty? Get any drink you can imagine or have the bartender make you a custom cocktail! Want a night out without the hassle of carseats and travel? They bring a full Mexican market TO YOU. They even had juice boxes along with the adult welcome drinks when we arrived... The Fives has thought of everything. It's the perfect family destination if you're searching a tropical experience while feeling secure and pampered. We'll definitely be back. Don't hesitate to book here, you won't regret it.

Not ideal for families with babies
We stayed at this resort as a group of 19 people, including children aged 6 and below and two babies. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this resort for families with young children due to several issues we encountered during our stay. Prior to arrival, we emailed the pre-arrival services two weeks in advance to request baby amenities, including cribs, for two of the rooms with babies. However, upon arrival, there were no cribs or other amenities in the rooms as requested. To make matters worse, one of the families with a baby was informed that their reservation could not be found. They were left waiting for several hours after a long journey, even though the baby was due for a nap. When their room was finally sorted, it still did not have the requested crib. When the staff was contacted, we were told that there were no cribs at the hotel since it was at capacity, but a roll-out bed was offered instead—raising significant safety concerns for a baby below one year of age Thankfully, Rafael, one of the ambassadors, went above and beyond to locate a crib for us after searching the entire property. We are grateful for his efforts, as his dedication stood out during an otherwise disappointing experience. Additionally, we had requested sterilizers for the rooms with babies. These were also unavailable at the time of arrival and only provided after multiple calls and follow-ups, finally arriving the next day. While the resort may offer a pleasant experience for other types of travelers, the lack of preparedness and responsiveness for families with young children made our stay unnecessarily stressful. We hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves their services for families in the future.

Pool life
We loved our stay at the hotel. We really loved our days at the owners pool Julie and Gerry really took care of us. If you go ask for the Julie special drink. It if simply delicious. We spent a few great family days sunning ourselves in the hot humid weather. It was great because we were missing the 15 to 20 centimetres of snow we were getting at home lol
