Mar 01, 2025Better resorts to choose from... Negatives outweigh the positive
We were told by the check-in staff, Concierge, and room attendant that we would see our butler when we arrived in our room. We were in our room the entire time on arrival day and never met our butler! I also asked that we not have alcohol in our room and that request was not met. I emailed Vainey Mora (in response to her email) before arriving, asking for assistance in setting up reservations for the restaurant. That was not done, and we were never emailed back. We opted for in-room service the first night since we never received info about the restaurants from the butler staff. The attendants (dinner and breakfast) who delivered our food were sooooo polite and provided exceptional service. The bed is very worn and uncomfortable! You can see the body indentations from the use over the years! The staff that we met on the first day (Alex and Luis) were friendly, but this by far has been the worse experience with 1st day butler service we have had at a resort (3rd resort visit in Cancun)! On our second day Naysin came by and was very helpful in getting our reservations set up and all other communication taken care of. They were also kind in decorating the room for my husband's bday and leaving him a birthday treat! The butlers (Naysin and Brian) were very responsive when I sent text messages through the what's app during our stay. They truly tried to make up for the hiccups on the first day, and I truly appreciate them. It was annoying to be constantly harassed by staff to try and offer "tours and free massages" (aka, timeshare presentation) whenever we went to eat or went anywhere near the front lobby. I also could not understand why to have adult only rooms facing a pool where kids are playing seems ridiculous to adults who choose an ADULTS ONLY resort!!! 🤔 We were in room 2355, and I will tell you if it was peak season where more kids were in the pool, we would have asked to be moved! The food at the restaurants was subpar even though they claim to be great. The exceptions were El Gaucho and Paiche which were wonderful! When checking out, review your receipt and ask for a copy. We were almost charged for hookah when we DO NOT smoke!!! Fyi...Yuli at the spa has been VERY WELCOMING and responsive to all my emails and questions. The shuttle drivers and river taxi staff were AMAZING AND FAST! We never had to wait long for a shuttle. Overall, I would still recommend choosing other resorts in Cancun (especially for the price paid).

This is a great spot! It’s our second time back, and we always have a great experience here. The food is always top notch, and it’s so relaxing!! Brayan at reception kindly got us an upgraded room, and we are looking forward to all the delicious food.

Zentropia spa - so relaxing!
The hot/cold circuit at Zentropia is incredible. My guide Rio allowed me as much time as needed and made it an extremely relaxing and positive experience. The juice bar has delicious and refreshing smoothies and fat burner shots are fantastic. The view from the rooftop pool is like nothing else. Thank you Rio!!!

Beautiful resort. Our Butlers were AMAZING!
The resort is beautiful. Lots of options to get around. There's cute water taxis, regular golf cart trolleys and quite walkable. Our 3 Butlers were AMAZING! Brian greeted us on arrival, answered all our questions and booked dinner for the 1st night. Every day he had big smiles, greeted us warmly and was always reachable. We met Naysin in the morning on Day 2 and she made ALL of our dinner reservations for the week with a patient smile at the Butler desk. She was delightful, every day. Adrian was always positive, asking how we were and pulled 'some strings' to move our dinner reservation on the last night. Being able to contact them through WhatsApp was wonderful and so convenient. All the rooms are beautiful. I've stayed in a Loft and in a Jr Suite!

Amazing trip!
We stayed in building two and had butlers Christofer, Fernando, and Tarek. They were absolutely phenomenal, accommodating all of our needs on our trip! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip possible. All of the restaurants were top tier, and the bars were fun and engaging. I would highly recommend this resort!
