  If you’re looking for a 5 star resort in Mexico this is the place! The food was amazing! The staff were amazing! EVERYTHING was an absolutely amazing! A special shout out to our butlers in Villa 68, Carlos & Fernando. Thanks for taking care of our every need. Hopefully we see you sooner than later. Salud!

  La Bohème, Best restaurant experience!

  La Bohème at the TRS was one of the best experiences we had during our stay. The hostess Cindy-Loren was very accommodating and made sure there were special arrangements at our table for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The waiter Alexis was amazing in his suggestions and was very personable, his presentation of the food to our table was first class. The manager, Delia made sure that everything was to our liking and that we were 100% satisfied. The chef Alberto did the most amazing job and the food was the best we’ve had since being at the resort.

  This resort was *almost* perfect

  I am someone who is incredibly, incredibly picky and hard to please when it comes to resort destinations. I'll start with the positives because, truth be told, there are so many of them. The hotel feels luxurious, with tasteful details that make it a great destination, especially for couples. It is romantic, modern, and well thought out from a marketing standpoint. Martha, Carlos, and Emilio were AMAZING. They went out of their way to make our stay special, gave great recommendations, secured us a reservation at a fully booked spot, and were always quick to respond. Anything we requested for our room was handled promptly. Despite the weather, the resort kept us busy, and there was always something to do. The bonfire dinner was a highlight, and I highly recommend it if you are there when it happens. Afterward, we were surprised with chocolate-covered strawberries and roses in our room, which was a sweet touch. The restaurants on the TRS side were consistently amazing. I am very picky with food, so when I say it was good, it was really good. The GP side was just okay, with typical resort food that all had a similar taste. If you stay on the TRS side, though, you will get high-quality meals. La Bohème, the French restaurant, was our favourite. Housekeeping kept our room in immaculate shape. They actually organized my makeup on the vanity, neatly placing everything on a face towel. I am admittedly a messy person, so I thought this was such a cute touch and exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me (lol). The entire staff, from waiters and beach staff to drivers and front desk, was friendly and welcoming. I would have given this resort 5 stars if not for one major issue. The AC in some rooms is a serious problem. It seems to be a common complaint, as we heard others mention it too. We switched villas from 68 to 66 on day three of our stay. Villa 68's AC worked well, but 66’s did not. The room remained humid and damp, even when it cooled down. The bed always felt damp, and the room had a musty, gym bag-like smell. On our last day, we noticed mold growing inside the laundry bag. The lamp in our original villa also had mold inside the lampshade. When I unpacked at home, my clothes smelled musty. Beyond being unpleasant, this is a serious health concern for the safety of guests and staff and should be addressed considering TRS is not an inexpensive resort.

  Great food and staff

  The restaurant El Gaucho had an amazing wait staff (Ramiro) and the best food! All the restaurants and buffets were great, clean and easy to get to with the shuttles. The entire resort is amazing! The various pools have different vibes. The adults only TRS is a place I will be visiting again!

  TRS Yucatan January 2025

  We recently stayed at TRS Yucatan and had another incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were truly spoiled by the outstanding service and warm hospitality. Our Butler Francisco ensured that our room was absolutely perfect, taking care of every detail to make our stay seamless. We were also fortunate to have Patricia who always greeted us by name and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and that everything was running smoothly. Their attentiveness and kindness made us feel truly special. We loved dining at Helios for breakfast and lunch, where we were treated exceptionally well by Martha, Guadalupe, and Lourdes. A special mention to Martha, who went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our meals and had a fantastic experience each time. At Capricho, we were particularly impressed by Loren, whose English is excellent and who made communication effortless, and Daniel, who ensured every need was met and exceeded. Their professionalism and dedication to service made each meal an absolute delight. Our experiences at Tentazione were equally wonderful, thanks to the warm and friendly service from Fany and Sherilyn, who always welcomed us with a smile and made sure everything was just right. A special shoutout to Miguel, the bartender at Tentazione, who was so kind and friendly while mixing a Spanish Coffee - he made each visit even more enjoyable. Over the years, we've come to know Roberto and Adeline, and it's always a pleasure to see them. Their warm greetings and attention to our needs truly make TRS Yucatan feel like a second home. We cannot say enough good things about our stay, and we're already looking forward to returning. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so memorable!
