Vacation
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were not as satisfied with the dinner restaurants as the buffet/al a cart options. But everything else was amazing. We would certainly return but chose different options for dinner.

Exceptional Hospitality, but Disappointing Cleanliness and Food Issues
The staff were the nicest people I’ve ever met; they go out of their way to take your luggage, smile, and always 100% of the time exhibit courteous behavior and hospitality to you. From the cart drivers, wait staff, lobby check in, bartenders, butlers, everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. The resort is beautiful, walkable, and has lots of daily activities, views, wildlife, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy your time or even meet people. Bartenders are plentiful & will quickly whip up any delicious drink you like. If you ever need to quickly get to another part of the resort, you can easily request a cart ride, and it will pick you up within minutes. The reason why my review is average is due to two things: Food poisoning and room cleanliness & patio privacy. For context, I stayed here for two weeks. We stayed on the bottom floor of building 68. Sheets, towels & pillow cases were often stained with brown or not cleaned thoroughly, giving a general anxiety to sleeping. The green pillows that are placed on the beds are never washed, and are reused for every guest, and they are often smelly. Floor had dead bugs and were never swept up, bathroom walls had some unsettling brown stains. At night, several small roaches would emerge from the shower drains to drink left over water on the floor. The back patios with the pool were not nearly as private as expected, with nextdoor & top floor neighbors being able to see you. On several occasions, laborers would walk through the backgrounds, directly invading patio pool privacy, and on one occasion one worker would keep passing hoping to get a glimpse. The food in the restaurants was generally decent quality, with Helios being one of the best restaurants on the resort, however, it was a coin toss if you were going to get food poising from the food at any given restaurant. Moreover, food quality, although usually high, would vary meal to meal. On one night a restaurant’s food is fantastic, the next it is inedible. And in either scenario you may get food poisoning. On the other resorts outside TRS such as Kentenah, food quality is noticeably less consistent. Overall, I give TRS a 3/5, with the highlights being the friendliness of all of the staff, the beautiful views & activities, and ease to get around. The low points would be patio privacy, room cleanliness, & food inconsistencies & food poisoning.

Perfect Holiday 5*****
We have recently returned from the TRS yucatan after spending 2 weeks at this unbelievable hotel! The food the drinks and the people are what makes this resort extra special. We celebrated our wedding here and it was fantastic from start to finish. Our butlers in block 63 were amazing. Ramon, Andrea and especially Maggie made our trip so special and always on hand to help with any questions and arrange lots of nice touches in the room in the evening. We spent our days at the La Terrazza as we loved the relaxed vibe. A massive shout out to Jaqueline who looked after us the whole 2 weeks bringing us drinks non-stop. Nothing was too much for her and works so so hard, we cannot thank her enough for all that she did for us. We will miss her so much. From the cleaners to the maintenance staff and everyone inbetween they are working a 24/7 operation and work so hard so please tip well 🙏🙏 they deserve it The bell boys, our go to man was fernando who looked after us for the whole 2 weeks, would always be there if we need him and we are grateful for him and all his hard work. And also Henry on the occasion fernando wasn’t available would always help out, we loved our chats with him about his life outside of work ( can’t wait to hear about your wedding one day ) 😂😂 The perfect destination for a wedding and 2 weeks of rest and relaxation, would come back in a heartbeat. 5 star plus for sure!!! The atmosphere of the establishment was truly exceptional, with every inch meticulously clean and exuding a sense of care and attention to detail. The staff consistently displayed warmth and professionalism, going above and beyond to ensure satisfaction, while the food was bursting with flavor and absolutely unforgettable.

From food to construction, this place was the worst. Totally un eatable food. Choked some of it down just because i had to.
