    translates to jaguar in Mayan, is a powerful spirit in the
    ancient Mayan tradition and a divine symbol of strength.
    This sense of strength and boldness comes to life through
    the creatively vibrant cocktail menu, which presents an
    insightful Mexican take on classic cocktail tradition.

    Café Inez is UNICO 20°87°’s take on café culture, offering guests an essential place to meet on property, or a quick stopover for bites between activities.     Excellent AI Resort!!

    We traveled with friends who had been before and their description of Unico 20 87 didn’t let us down. It is a beautiful hotel with very warm and friendly staff. The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable with a nice seating area and great space on the balcony. The daily housekeeping and turn down staff did an excellent job. Such special touches in the room; we really felt pampered. Yes, the beach is on the small side and consider wearing water shoes that also protect your toes if you go in the water until you clear some rocks, but it’s still gorgeous and relaxing to sunbathe on one of the many lounges. There are also plenty of poolside lounges as well. The food is superb! We tried all of the restaurants and while some meals were favorites you will be pleased with it all—make reservations for all when you first arrive. Take time to explore outside the resort. Their Chichen Itza tour was a highlight from the amazing ruins, swimming in the cenote, and the delicious buffet lunch with a show—what a fantastic day! The hotel also arranged safe travel by taxi for us to use for our afternoon in Playa del Carmen and back. Lastly, a special shout out to our butlers, Israel and Roger, for their daily attentiveness, prompt service, and help in fulfilling requests; both really nice men and great “ambassadors” for the hotel! Bryan, Lucia, Erigio (sp?) and other poolside waitstaff all gave us great service by the pool. We will be looking forward to our next visit! ¡Muchas gracias!

    Best trip ever at Unico!

    I had the best trip with all of my friends!! We had the best butler (Roger) he was so attentive and kind. We definitely want to go back. Resort was off the charts nice and we all enjoyed it very much. We loved the pool and the beach. We had a great experience.

    What a fantastic resort!!

    What an incredible experience! We've stayed at all inclusive resorts before and have become accustomed to having to 'settle' for certain elements (food quality, maintenance issues, overcrowded pools...) but this trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Unico takes steps to offer a personalized stay. From being able to select your pillows, to the aroma therapy in our room, to accommodating food allergies in their restaurants! The rooms were great! VERY well maintained, very clean, and well planned out for luxury and function. The food was amazing! From the breakfast buffet, to the restaurants, to room service... we loved it all! All of those great things aside, the real luxury was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic experience! Eduardo was our host. Eduardo took the time to explain everything and facilitated all our requests. He made dinner reservations, communicated with housekeeping, organized a special birthday experience, made some excellent recommendations, and checked in with us routinely to ensure we were having the best time we could. I highly recommend this resort for your next vacation

    Beautiful experience at Unico

    It was a wonderful experience. Our butler’s Alexander and Alejandro were amazing. Unico is a very clean, classy place to vacation. The restaurants and different dining options were very good with an array of choices for the entire family.

    Great Unoco

    Unico is the best resort that we have ever been to thanks to the best butlers Roger and Israel and staff. We also loved doing the activities near the lobby bar. The bar staff and music there was great. The pool and restaurant staff were the best and very friendly and welcoming. The staff at the desk at the golf course I would have to say were not so nice and not very helpful when our ride left us. The staff at the golf course starter area were very nice and friendly.
