The resort was nice, food was great (must try the shrimp tacos and mushroom quesadillas at the pool), spa was lovely, beach was gorgeous, activities were fun, and Carlos and Eduardo (our butlers for the week) were fantastic! Staff at Legendary pool also equally amazing!

Unico 20 87, November 2024
Arrived through Tulum airport. Small but mighty airport. Private transportation for the 8 of us, 2 couples and 4 ladies. Arrived at Unico and were met by one of our Butlers, Alexander. He took us to our suite for check in. Perfect room with a great view. The team of Butlers included Alexander, Alajandro, and Aguirre. They were always ready to take care of all our needs. We had them make our dinner reservations before we arrived. They took care of reserving our pool chairs and cabana. They also helped celebrate one of the girls birthday with room decorations. The first night our dinner was Cueva 7. Oscar was our server. He did a great job taking care of us and making Mayan coffee. The next day we were anxious to get to the pool. Our chairs and cabana were reserved and ready for us. Our pool concierge was Miguel Angel Madeira Oxte. He was a trainee with aspirations of becoming a Butler. He was polite and helpful. Our servers during the week were Sara and Elsbeth, always checking if we needed another drink. We did try the pool exercise class a few days. Andrea was very good at this and fun with exercise. Carlos was our Sales guy. Polite and not pushy. The second night we ate at Mi Carisa. Our server and restaurant manager, Irving & Thomas, took great care of us. The second visit was served by Mariana. Some of us had pedicures. Lovely spa. Lux and Maria were very accommodating doing our pedicures. Dinner at the Grill 20 87 was excellent and served by Jesus. Several mornings and lunches were served by Melissa. She became our favorite server for breakfast and lunch, always having my tea ready! The Hostess, Alejandra always meet us with a smile. We did have the large cabana most days. It was located behind our chairs. We had a special lunch at the cabana prepared by chef Victotiano. Amazing assortment of seafood. We are dinner again at Cueca Siete and had great service with Roberto. Great food! Mist of us enjoyed an 80 minute massage. Azenet, Yessenia, and Karla did a great massage. A second visit to Grill 20 87 for great food served by Victor. Again another great meal. The food at Mura House was very abundant. Served by Antonio, no one could eat it all! The last night there we were fortunate to have a special meal made by Chef Angel. He really did an amazing 7 course meal. Each course was exquisitely made and presented. Our entire stay was amazing. The staff was more than willing to help and served with a smile. We were grateful to everyone that we encountered during our stay. Hope to return in the near future.

Amazing stay
Just got back from Unico and wish we were still there. Went for our 20th wedding anniversary and we are so impressed and happy we chose Unico. I was worried about feeling pressured into a breakfast meeting but we said we weren’t interested right at the beginning and were never bothered again. Everything was great. The rooms, food, drinks were all amazing. The resort is smaller and doesn’t really get going early which was so nice. We could always find a chair and towels by the pool or on the beach. Cony and Grace were amazing servers by the Unica pool. Erik was our server at 2087 in the mornings. He was great! And was so easy to talk to. Raul was our local host and made sure to let us know what was happening everyday and made all our dinner reservations. I have allergies and all the restaurants handled it so well. I did not feel limited in what I could eat. They even made me separate foods at times to accommodate my diary allergy.

Amazing!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful resort! LOVED the food, all the options! Loved the coffee shop, the gym, the pools, the activities in the evening! It was our first time here, and having the HOST to help and answer questions, solve issues, etc. was SOO helpful!! Hector was incredible! He always checked in on us daily — he always carried through on all requests/questions, and always showed his face / made himself available as needed!! Could never put into words how much we appreciated Hector!! Finally, the rooms and our lookout!!! Amazing!! The ability to have room service, all the special pillows, the diffuser, the turn down service — it was truly all amazing! Thank you UNICO for the best honeymoon!!!

Butlers Javier and Rodrigo superstars
Just getting around to writing this review. We were 3 couples we travelled mid-September. Had a great time. It was our second time at this property. The food was the best can't go wrong with this property if you enjoy good food. The Butlers Javier and Rodrigo second time we had them were outstanding. We wanted nothing as these two were on top of everything. Very Professional and they handled the 3 couples perfectly. I actually just called and asked for a request for a guest of mine that is there now and they came through big time. These guys were great. The only minor complaint was the lobby bar. It was busy at times but the bartenders seem to run out of good Liquor. I thought the service there could have been better. Great time though. Thanks Guys.
