This is our second time staying at this resort and we again loved our stay! It offers many different options from lying around tanning with peace and quiet while looking at the ocean to a more lively option at other pools. It’s nice to have the options. We did choose to upgrade our room to preferred club and the butlers we had were amazing! They handled all our reservations, got us our golf cart rides and were quick to get us anything we asked for! They were extremely responsive via text message, which made for a more relaxing stay! Hugo, Noah, Luis and Alma were amazing butlers and took care of all our needs between our two rooms! They took care of everything and worked as hard as possible to get us everything we needed! Rene was our waiter at the Mediterranean restaurant and he went above and beyond and honestly provides amazing service and strives to do so! We had him our last stay too and I was happy to have him be our waiter again! Kids club ladies are amazing as well and our daughter enjoyed all her time in there! We love this resort and would definitely return! Alan the bartender at the marina pool made the best drinks and made our time over there a blast!

After our first stay, we knew we wanted to make El Cid our NEW home away from home!
We would like to start by saying that we went to El Cid with our eyes wide shut as part of a Princess Cruise line promotion. We had zero preconceptions or expectations. So this is from the heart since we don’t usually care to write reviews. Hospitality galore! It’s easy to say the staff was nice, but they went out of their way on absolutely every occasion. If we asked for directions, they would simply come pick us up. One evening we even came back to a beautifully decorated room which caught us pleasantly by surprise. Since we cruise often, we expected the food to be similar. Well, it was not. It was so much better, from the different restaurants, wonderful menu selections to all the outstanding cuisines. With the help of our butler, we never had to worry about reservations as he always took care of our request(s). Top shelf alcohol and wines were readily available. Our butler checked in with us numerous times a day, providing reservations, rides, or special touches for the room as needed. The room was kept immaculate and freshened up twice a day. We took advantage of the wonderful pillow bar and beautiful scents provided by the resort. Although it sounds silly the thermostats actually controlled the climate unlike what we have experienced in Europe or on cruises. We used the spa daily and just adored the people working there. Saunas, steam rooms, dipping pools and couple massages were some of the very best. As for two gyms, we found the gym at the Ha to be our favorite. The pools were great and never overcrowded. The small bars were fun and we were introduced to a number of new cocktails. The ‘special’ Mayan dinner on the beach will always be a cherished memory for us as well as our Private Yacht and crew for the day. Both experiences were simply over the top. In closing, we loved our stay so much that we decided to make El Cid our new home away from home. Therefore, we signed up and became Platinum Plus members. We plan on going back at the end of this month to stay at the Ha and then we will be going to the sister resort location in Mazatlan for a couple of weeks late in the fall.

Awesome Experience!
What a great resort! From the moment we got on site the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. We have a big family so our suite was fully taken care of by the cleaning staff every day. The Butlers we had - Ivan and Cali had us fully stocked with whatever we needed. Very responsive and informative reminding us of our reservations and whatever activities were at the resorts for the day. The food at the buffets were great and we had dinner reservations each night and those were all top notch as well. Highly recommend and would go back here in a heartbeat!!!!

the butlers made the vacarion perfect!
Loved our vacation at Ventus at Marina El Cid! Our room was very nice and in the perfect location of the three hotels. The food options were great! Massage on the beach was memorable. The staff was great as well. Our butlers Alma & Hugo were amazing!! They made the stay extra special with a birthday surprise, evening sprays of calming lavender scent, helping with reservations to our favorite restaurants and luggage. Hope to visit again!

Amazing vacation
Our butlers Luis and Noah were amazing. They ensured we had dinner reservations, helped reserve a cabana, always had water in our room and even helped with my umbrella. The restaurants all had amazing food. The live music was very nice. Highly recommend resort
