Andrés and Carlos are Amazing poolside staff!
Andrés and Carlos with the poolside staff were amazing! They were so kind and helpful. They both took the time to explain how poolside service at the resort worked, and they made sure we were comfortable the whole time whether it was bringing a umbrella for shade or asking if we wanted more drinks or food

Terrible Experience - We Checked Out after 12 hours
This hotel was a major letdown. The property was overcrowded and poorly managed, starting with long lines for check-in. It felt more like a packed tourist trap than a relaxing getaway. There was a musty, mildew-like odor in my room. It was unpleasant and made it difficult to feel comfortable. The hotel itself is in need of renovations--outdated furniture, and worn-down amenities. The customer service was lackluster. Staff seemed indifferent, and any requests were either ignored or met with attitude. The overcrowding extended to the dining experience as well. The all-inclusive meals were not worth the hassle—long lines at the buffet and à la carte restaurants meant waiting 30 minutes or more just to get a plate of mediocre food. By the time you sat down to eat, it hardly felt like an enjoyable vacation meal. If you're looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay in Cabo, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better options that actually care about guest experience. We left after 12 hours--even though it meant losing the money for the rest of our stay.

Beautiful Resort that feels like home away from home!
We just spent fifteen days at Villa del Palmar and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The resort is beautiful and very comfortable. But what stands out most is the special staff there. No matter who you run across they always have a smile and are willing to stop what they are doing to help you out. From the grounds crew and housekeepers to wait staff and front desk they all make you feel welcome and a treasured guest. They have many activities throughout the week to make guests smile. The Super Bowl party was the BEST! I highly recommend this resort for families or couples…fun for all.

Would stay again
My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The staff was great and the food was surprisingly good for an all inclusive resort. The rooms were nice and I appreciated having a kitchen although we didn’t really use it. We were in the main building near an elevator so it was a little noisy. The grounds were beautiful with multiple pools and hot tubs and a waterslide in the family pool. You can’t beat the location either. It’s right on Médano Beach and within a 10 minute drive of downtown and the marina. You can walk there in about 30 minutes but we chose to Uber which cost under $5. Some things to note: There is a doctor onsite and there’s a market and gift shop where you can purchase anything you may have forgotten. Just a warning when you arrive they will try to get you to attend a timeshare presentation. It’s a little different than other timeshares because you can choose how long to have access to their properties. Depending on how much you put down you can have access for up to 50 years. It took a couple hours but we did get a free excursion and a big discount to the spa. The spa is absolutely gorgeous. We got a couples massage and it was the perfect way to end our trip.

Beautiful location wonderful people
We had the chance to go on a family vacation with my parents brother husband and daughter 2. We stayed in a 2bedroom with balcony room and it was gorgeous. The hotel is gorgeous the people who work there are all so friendly and well trained to handle our needs. I wanted to make sure I got this review up because we felt like kings and queens while we were there . We did do a few days of all inclusive and it paid off for sure!!!! The life guard made our lives enjoyable, relaxed and he gave us a lot of fun and laughs Jesus! You rock ! He took his job very serious from the moment we walked straight out to view the beach my daughters sandal caught a rock and made her trip and fall Jesus ran up and handled the situation and made sure we were all ok. The week to follow we spent our days by the pool knowing we were in good hands. ESP with the drinks we enjoyed. Oscar and Carlos hooked it up poolside. We had so much fun and they stayed at pace with my husband who was testing them on all inclusive days. They really made it fun! Best service we’ve had anywhere in the world! We did catch some fish on a fishing charter it was a little intimidating navigating how to get our fish and communicate with the butcher who was filleting and packing our fish up. Once we got back to our hotel we couldn’t get back to the marina when we said we could so Alonzo was happy to speak with the butcher on my phone to make the correct arrangements . And on that subject we did have a restaurant on the marina cook up some of our fish and it was to die for they did our mahi mahi 7 different ways and it could not have been better! The shows were so fun! I personally LOVED the lion king and my daughter did too! The Michael Jackson tribute was great we enjoyed them all though. Shout out to Luis and Adrian the bar tenders they made the pineapple daiquiri of our dreams!!!!! So good ! Our time in Cabo was a dream. We cannot wait to come back ! Thank you to the wonderful people at Villa del Plamar for all you do! -the Millers
