Exceptional Dining experiences
I found the property to be nice, but the concierge staff were unfriendly. My favorite part of staying here was breakfast at Caprichos with a special mention to Alexis and Wilfredo for being exceptional with their friendliness and service, and dining at Davinos Italian restaurant with Angel and Adrian, and special mention to the hostess Andy. Angel, Adrian, Andy, Alexis & Wilfredo made our dining experiences amazing, and would be the biggest influence to come back.

First Cancun experience
The experience was wonderful. The service was exceptional especially from Eduardo in the buffet. The spa should not be missed. This resort was very clean and well maintained. Everyone working there is very friendly and helpful. Great first experience in Mexico.

Wish I had more space to rave about the AMAZING crew at Villa del Palmar!
What an amazing trip! Servers at Capricos, Eduardo, Oscar and Pedro are TOP NOTCH! Edgar in activities is full of energy and makes everything FUN! Maracella at Palmita is so kind and funny! Laura our housekeeper was truly a keeper. All of the staff were so kind and welcoming. As a business owner, we know what it means to have happy employees and happy customers. Villa del Palmar is truly doing something RIGHT for their staff and their customers! Can't wait to come back.

Our favorite Mexico Resort!!
This is our third time staying at Villa del Palmar & it never disappoints! Our favorite resort to visit. Everything is always perfect! Amr and his team are amazing and always helpful! Amr goes above and beyond making sure we are happy. The food is amazing and restaurants are always clean. Jose in reception will go above and beyond to make sure his visitors are happy. We appreciate the team at Villa del Palmar so much and can’t wait to continue making memories with our family here! Could not recommend more!

You Won't Be Disappointed!
We are about to visit Villa Del Palmar for our third time this year. We were turned on to the Tafer Brand after visiting their adults-only location in Puerto Vallarta, which surpassed all of our expectations and was incredibly beautiful and luxurious. So for our family vacation, we wanted the same level of excellence, and booked at Villa del Palmar Cancun. We have been so pleased with each stay. The first time was great, but last year not only did they upgrade the rooms, but we invited three other couples to come with us, and we all had a fabulous time. Couples who had visited other resorts in Mexico remarked that this one surpassed their previous experiences. This year, three out of the four of the couples are returning for Spring Break because of how much fun we had. If you are looking for excellent service, fine dining, clean rooms and grounds, and quiet evenings, this is the resort for you. In the reviews, I see some complaining about the lack of nightlife and evening entertainment, but this just means it's not the right resort for you. I'm guessing that for the majority of visitors to this resort, this is a plus. It truly is an exceptionally family friendly resort, and for us the fact that the courtyard is quiet by 9pm is a huge bonus. You can get your kids to bed at a reasonable time, and everyone sleeps well. In the evenings we'll bring card games to play with friends at the fire pits, or do a movie night in our room. We would hate loud music or partying in the courtyard into the wee hours. During the day, the poolside is populated with parents and grandparents who are keeping a general eye on things, and there aren't loud, drunken groups of partiers or college kids. There are plenty of kids in water-wings, babies in shaded floats, and it feels super calm and safe for your kids to go to the tiki bar to get drinks, etc. Tips for a great stay: make your dinner reservations in advance. Now you can book 45 days beforehand and iron out all of your dinner plans. Send a dad to save poolside loungers with some personal items in the mornings if you want to guarantee seats after breakfast. Have a list of new cocktails you want to try, and be adventurous in your dining choices. Everything is excellent, including the mocktails! Don't miss the magic show! If you sit in the front, there's a good chance your kids will be chosen to participate in the show, which is a huge thrill. The dolphin experience on Isla Mujeres is 100% worth it, and the ferry ride is easy and safe. Try the green juice at breakfast, whatever they put in it really puts a spring in your step! Davino's and La Casona are our favorite restaurants.
