    Lovely but quiet

    I went to Villla Valencia this year over spring break with our two teens and friends. Pro's - The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The infinity pool is amazing, and it's the perfect height. Tables around the edge are great for hanging out, and the lazy river is awesome for floating or walking around in. - Viktor was an excellent server by the pool who checked back frequently. - They did a great job of monitoring the chairs by the pool. *TIP* if you get out there early to save chairs, they do start checking at 8 am and will move your items if no one is at the chairs. Con's Everything took a long time, from dinner in the Italian restaurant (over 1 hour to get our entrees with no apps) to lunch by the pool (45 minutes to get two pizzas), to getting sat at the buffet (20 minutes when there were plenty of open tables), to getting water at our table (20 minutes once we were sat). Two restaurants are higher-end for dinner (steak and Italian), which is nice, but to be asked to tip off the price if we were not all-inclusive was a bit jarring—$ 200 tip for dinner at the steak restaurant. If you wanted a casual dinner, you could choose between the pool bar and the buffet. It would be nice to have some sort of middle option. There is nothing here after 7 p.m., and there is no music unless you go to the buffet, which is every other night. This is an excellent place for lounging by the pool and for people who do not want all-inclusive and would prefer to go to dinner in either city since it's midway between both or families with younger kids who want a buffet every night, decent pools, to go to bed at 8 pm.

    Hogo was an amazing waiter! He added a personal touch that made it a fun comfortable evening! The food was spectacular! We can’t wait to come again! Such a welcoming environment! We truly felt like family! My mom’s 60th birthday was a night to remember! The service was five star! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Nice resort, good food, but hard to get good seat by infinity pool.

    This was second time visiting villa la Valencia. Food is very good. We usually stay 9 days at a resort. Good selection of food choices as well. Able to find something different each night. Susanne (steakhouse manager) was so welcoming and caring and Adrian at steakhouse bar made sure every drink was just right. The Italian restaurant had a great selection and an amazing fried risotto dish. Buffet restaurant has good selection for breakfast. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Wife loves their only lazy river in Cabo. Biggest complaint at this resort is finding a lounge chair at infinity pool. I had to be up by 5:45 am every morning to find a front row seat at the pool. pool view is great though. And you can see whales in February from the lounge chair daily. Overall I would recommend for a family or visiting with friends. We will return again. But Cabo weather can be cool from January through March (low to mid seventies) and breezy so seems cooler some days.

    I recommend BUT with reservation.

    Our family enjoyed the 1 bedroom suite which was super spacious. It also included a laundry & dryer which the website didn't advertise. That was a great bonus but I recommend you bringing your own laundry detergent as they only give you enough for 1 load. The pool was beautiful BUT it was super strange that getting a pool chair was almost impossible unless you woke up before 7am to reserve one. They state that there is no reserving of chairs at check-in but we found out on our first morning there that they allow people to reserve so if you don't do it, you're out of luck until late in the afternoon. I agree with the other reviews as well that the check system for an all-inclusive is extremely cumbersome. We often had to wait and it felt like a great inconvenience when things were already paid for. I would recommend this to other families with reservation because of the check-system that really reduced the enjoyment of the experience as well as the pool chair. No one wants to have to wake up before 7 on vacation so to get a lounge chair!

    Latitude at villa la valencia

    We went with Family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤❤❤😁 and visited the steakhouse latitude. Our server angel was very nice. Attentive and the food was great. I would recommend this to families for fun. This hotel is very nice and upscale great for a getaway.
