Perfect location! Incredible views! Ocean sounds 24/7!
Stayed at Villa Premiere during NYE 2024/25 and it did not disappoint. We originally booked the Premiere Suite and was given suite 2212 upon check-in. Nice size room but didn’t like the view too much and the sliding door didn’t have a screen on it. I like to have the doors open to hear the ocean but don’t want no bugs flying inside. We called to let them know and they were going to put in a screen for us but we decided to upgrade and thankfully they had a Master Suite available. Soooooo much nicer!!! We stayed in suite 2201. Beautiful large corner 1 bedroom with separate living & dining area, large terrace with outdoor jacuzzi. Bathroom is a bit small with one sink but it was fine. LOVED the views and listening to the ocean every day! You do have to fill up the jacuzzi whenever you want to use it and it doesn’t say hot. It’s more of like a big bath tub jacuzzi that you fill up when you’re ready to get in it. Service was incredible by all. From the front desk, to the bellman, waiters, pool staff, etc. special shout outs to: Paul - pool guy was the best! Alejandro - pool bar Edgar - breakfast waiter Food at all of the restaurants were good. Especially loved those pork belly tacos at La Perla. The spa was pretty nice and so was our massages. Per my husband, the gym could be better. Their NYE party was cool. Could have been a little more lively as the party next door at their family sister resort was way better! Met a lot of great folks here and loved that it’s walking distance to Romantic Zone, Malecon, shopping, restaurants and bars. Perfect location! Would definitely come back here.

Good but there were issues.
So my score would be a 3.5. There’s a lot of good things about this hotel but there were some persistent issues that they aren’t dealing with. I’ll give a full fair review listing of both the good and the bad. My stay was from 1-6-25 to 1-16-25. My wife and I chose the all inclusive plan. My total bill was approximately $5,800 USD. Positives: The hotel is in a great location. Walkable to the malecon and directly in front of camarón beach. The beach is pretty but can be rocky in spots so definitely bring proper water shoes. The housekeeping is very good and there is a turndown service nightly. The property itself is also kept very clean. The hotel is adults only and is fairly quiet. We visited the sister property the Buenaventura Grand Hotel whose facilities you can also use, but it was a loud madhouse with kids running all over the place (not for us). In general the food was high quality. Portions sizes were small but you can order seconds. Drinks on the AI were OK, but not top shelf and the wine selection was very limited unless you wanted to pay an up charge. The spa was also very nice and you were able to book time in the sauna and steam room at no extra charge. In general almost all staff were very nice and accommodating, Negatives: The restaurant service was very uneven. Our first night was at the La Corona and dinner took almost three hours. I was told there weren’t enough cooks working. The place was crowded and everyone was waiting to be served. But this also happened at La Ceiba for lunch and once again at La Corona. I spoke to the manager about this. I don’t think they have consistent adequate staffing. If you want to eat at the La Perla restaurant (not all that fancy, it’s really just a sports bar with good food) you need to make a reservation. That’s kind of strange when La Corona is clearly the one upscale restaurant and lounge at the hotel . Given that La Corona had the most service issues you would think they could straighten that out with knowing their dinner count through reserving a table. Oh and in case you’re wondering there really is no dress code whatsoever at any restaurant . I suppose if you came in a wet bathing suit they would stop you, but otherwise anything goes. One thing I was really ticked off about was the pool next to the bar. It is supposed to be heated, but 80%!of the time it wasn’t. Now if the manager or concierge responds to this review and thanks me for bringing it to their attention, then they’re lying. I did. I complained directly to the manager and additionally to the front desk staff twice and it was still not corrected. This isn’t an insignificant matter in the winter. We had very cloudy weather on at least 7 of my 10 days at the hotel (not anyone’s fault of course) and the pools were cold and almost entirely empty all day. Even in sunny weather it’s still cool at night and takes time to warm the water. There isn’t a whole lot to do on grounds during the day other than eat , drink or swim so yeah it’s a big deal. And a lot of the crowd were seniors (like myself) who don’t have the circulation we did when we were younger (that’s why we flock to warmer climates like Puerto Vallarta). So I’m really annoyed about this. There were also some billing issues that I did have to straighten out which took too much time Specifically a spa charge that wasn’t ours, an additional spa over charge that was ours, and a $30.00 overcharge which they claim was my banks fault which I will dispute with my credit card company who does not charge foreign transaction fees. They also caught a big gratuity mistake on a breakfast bill. Their invoices are almost impossible to decipher. My advice is to pay all gratuities in cash if you can, and print out your reservation showing the daily charges for your records. Also they tack on a daily charge of a couple of bucks each day for their music charity. It’s not a big deal but you should ask permission of the guests before you do it. Finally as others have complained about, I was pestered by the concierge about attending a “vacation club/time share” presentation. I told him up front no, but he did not let up so I said I’d think about it just to get him to leave me alone. The proper way to handle this would be for him to ask the guest if they would be interested in hearing a presentation about their offering in return for whatever compensation they want to give you. If the guest says no, it ends right there. There is no reason this hotel couldn’t get a 5 star review from me other than their unwillingness to correct some of their issues.

Amazing stay, thanks everyone
We have been before and it was great but the addition of La Perla has been amazing. As always the staff were superlative. Armando with a warm smile, victor with perfect service, Luiz with great chat and Enrique by the pool. Not just them but everyone from front desk to housekeeping always greeting with a smile and hello. The small details of service take this place to another level. I think the food has improved as well. Can’t wait to be back. Gracias a todo.

Recommend for couples
Room is big and staffs are friendly. Location is close from beaches and most of high rated restaurants. We spent 2 nights in here and recommend to all of my friends who didn't know about Puerto Vallarta. Hotel is very cleaned and cozy and people who works in here are well trained and enjoying their working.

Overall good hotel but nothing extraordinary to justify the price per night
Hotel location is good . Reception and staff service are good . I like cleaned of hotel . Spa facility is nice. Room interior design is outstanding We booked for suite price on new year days . Around 1100 USD per night. I won’t do it again as I did not feel the value for it I did not like the fact that not even bottle of water is complimentary !! Coffee capsules are also chargeable !! Hotel offers bikes for free but the bikes are rusted and very old . Hotel offer welcome massage which is in fact some soft touches of 3 minutes max
