Great place for a quiet and pleasant vacation
This a both a review and information that you may find useful for Villas Fa-Sol. Through our booking site, the hotel offered one free transport from the hotel to the airport. We paid for pickup and Jordan was waiting for us when the plane landed. Jordan was our main contact while staying at Villas Fa-Sol as he spoke English and could arrange taxis, tours, etc and provide info. We stayed in the corner location on a second floor. Right outside our balcony there was a huge cactus that had iguanas living in it, so we could observe them, as well as all of the birds in the adjoining treed lot. Just so that you aware, this hotel is not located close to town, but that is one of things we liked about it. It was nice and quiet and we often had the swimming pool and the rocky beach (that has chairs) for ourselves to read or listen to the waves. Breakfast is included with your rate - each morning there was coffee, a choice of fresh juice, yogurt and granola, a small fresh fruit plate and a selection of egg dishes. The hotel sometimes serves dinner too, but not consistently. A taxi to La Crucita (downtown) is 85 pesos. Often we would walk to the entry gates (Villas Fa-Sol is in a gated community with lots of very large homes) and flag down a taxi for as little as 50 pesos. But Jordan can arrange a taxi to pick you up at the hotel any time. Options for meals include La Crucita or Santa Cruz (same price by taxi). There are also 4 or 5 restaurants 2 km away outside of the Dreams Hotel - we often walked to these restaurants. If you go the opposite direction from town, there is a small outdoor restaurant at Playa La Bocana that we ate at (short drive or half hour walk) and the best food we had was from a seafood hut at "Bunny Beach" or Bahia Conejos (20 minute walk from hotel) - grilled over a fire (if you eat at the hut, you can use the chairs and tables for free for the duration of your stay). There is a small beach about 5 minutes from the hotel through the trees next to the hotel and you can also go up and down rickety stairs at the end of the road to another calmer beach. We also walked to Togulunda Beach (shared with Dreams hotel) - which is the biggest beach we visited. We enjoyed our stay and really liked the privacy and calmness that the hotel offered.

It was the perfect introduction to Huatulco for us. We will be back!
We really loved our time at Fa Sol. Jordan, Amirani (and the whole team) made everything so easy. The laid back vibe let’s you feel safe and at home. We stayed six nights and found it easy to be social or private on the property depending on our mood. The non-swimable beach was great to chill and just a short walk on a path to the left or right of the property were swimming beaches. We rented a scooter for a few days to be able to explore, but taxis are easy too. The view from our room was fabulous (the wifi not so much) but was enough to get by. I needed to do some work and managed video calls just fine, using tucked away space in the common area. My husband and I found it hard to leave and will return to this simple yet magical boutique Villas. Thanks Fa Sol 🤍

Atmospheric exotic low key boutique experience
The charming slightly Greek or Moorish whitewashed rooms spill down the narrow canyon. Small infinity pools follow downhill, offering splendid views. The rooms are spacious and charming with great AC and wifi. Grounds breathtaking with an enormous white cross on the hill. From the pics you may think you cannot access the water. One beach is a rocky crashing swirling beauty. The other beach is a one minute walk through a lovely forest. That beach is only hard to swim in at low and high tide. Medium tide is swimmable with pretty good snorkeling on the west side. If you have any ocean swimming experience you should be fine. Most often you are alone on either beach. The breakfasts are hearty and made from scratch. Order drinks poolside and schedule a fish dinner on site or catch a cheap cab to the town for dinner. Snooze in a hammock. Read a book in a lounge chair in the shallow pool. Staff is excellent. Solomon makes everything possible and can schedule snorkeling or fishing trips for you. The small personable atmosphere beats any large resort. This is a wonderful value.

Exquisite
We spent two weeks at Villa Fa Sol in the Pulpa Room, a jr. Suite. The views were incredible from our room (on the second floor, 48 steps) and everywhere in this truly beautiful hotel. Our room was very comfortable as was our king sized bed. The grounds were gorgeous. Lots of sitting areas with exquisite views. The breakfasts (included,) were delicious. And we so enjoyed Julio and Jordon who served us. We also ate some lunches here. We enjoyed the small pools, the beaches. One for sunning, the other for swimming. Gerardo and his son, Jordon, the managers were great, always helpful and friendly. We love the staff here. We particilarly enjoyed the boat tour of the bays that Jordon set up for us and the archeology museum. The hotel calls cabs which come in about 6 minutes.

Nice views, quiet, easy access to beaches in front and nearby.
Beautiful views, good breakfast, quiet with nice bay in front and nearby. Our corner room had very light curtains (no drapes) with afternoon sun causing it to be VERY bright inside. No potable bottled water in room as with other properties we stayed at. Seemed a bit dated could use a good coat of paint most everywhere.
