  Beautiful condo, inside and out!

  Such a wonderful place to stay on Seven Mile Beach! Fantastic location and wide, relatively secluded, beach (compared to hotels around it). Our condo (#59) was a gorgeous ground floor unit, with easy access to the beach. It featured updated decor and amenities. The grounds of the complex were beautifully landscaped, and in general we were very close to so many restaurants and shops.

  Awesome stay at the Villas

  The Villas is awesome. Great location in the middle of Seven Mile Beach, nice clean condos, great staff, beautiful grounds. We have been going every year for several years and it is always a 10 out of 10 experience. And the island is so wonderful. Everyone is friendly, it is safe, great restaurants, beautiful scenery and plenty to do or you can do nothing and hang on the beach.

  Amazing stay in villa #30.

  I was staying in Villa of the Galleon #30 with my family of 5 second week of January this year. My second trip to the Island but first time in the Villas of the Galleon. The location of the Villas is superb. The beach is beautiful and two great neighboring properties - The Ritz-Carlton Hotel at your left and Westin Beach Resort from your right. We enjoyed live music and amazing firework at Ritz-Carlton right on the beach and water activities and restaurants in Westin. You can easily go to the crowded and busy neighboring hotels and return back to quiet, calm and clean environment of the Villas and I like that. Lots of great restaurants within a walking distance. The villa #30 is different from many hotel rooms. It is like a beach house with loft and high ceiling. It is very spacious!! You feel relaxed and can enjoy the ocean view from your balcony. The unit is very nicely decorated with seashells and paintings of turtles. The place is clean and well maintained. It was very quiet in the villa during our stay possibly because it was an upper floor villa. Usually the place you like you want to stay longer. That’s what exactly we were feeling at the end of our vacation. Nice place! We'll come back.

  The absolute best all round experience on seven mile beach!

  Amazing as always! Leslie and the staff at the office are second to none! We had a fantstic family Christmas vacation. Our family has been coming for years and it is like our second home. I would suggest booking with the Villas of the Galleon directly versus offsite property rental agencies. It insures much better service at the same or better pricing! Just a little advice from experieince!

  Mixed.

  We enjoyed our stay at Villas of the Galleon, but for us the property did not live up to the five-star reviews. Pros: Fantastic location with an outstanding, uncrowded beach, and easy walk to restaurants, grocery store, etc. Units are very solidly constructed. We never heard any noise from adjacent units. Washer and dryer within the unit was super-convenient. Cons: Decor within the unit was lacking, and the unit felt very bare. (Not a show-stopper, but a small investment in time and money could make a huge difference in the attractiveness of the space.) Maintenance was lacking within the unit. For example, multiple light bulbs needed replacing and painting was overdue. Many of the reviews raved about the service. We didn't experience much service. During the week we spent at the property, housekeeping serviced the unit 3 times. Other than the beach, facilities and amenities are extremely limited.
