  Great little spot if you're easy going

  We had a great vacation at Viva Tangerine. It's what you make it for sure! The resort is beautiful, the staff is kind and friendly and the food is great. Buffet had lots to choose from. The snack bar had junk food when you wanted it and the restaurants where amazing. You cannot take the food anywhere from the dining areas which was a drawback for us, since we have 3 kids who enjoy snacks and we would have liked to bring something off the resort to eat while we went exploring. We understand its likely due to people smashing plates or something along those lines. Our all-together room was in poor shape, our ceiling had paint dripping on our heads, we had no hot water and AC didn't work. Thankfully, we didn't spend much time in there and we didn't want to be put in a small room when we had 5 people. The pool is beautiful but could be cleaned more regularly as there was food and debris in the pool for many days. Once cleaned it was lovely! The smaller pool around the corner is the same condition but open to the public so it was either super quiet or very busy. Coffee and tea was poor, and no real selection or options for fancy coffee's in the morning with baileys. The beach is stunning and the waves are very fun for boogie boarding but they hammer the whistle to keep you safe. On the beach, you are relentlessly heckled to buy things from the approved vendors. It was incessant and really annoying. No matter where you go, 10-15 people will harass you while you're trying to relax no matter what you do. We walked downtown Cabarete and drove to Sosua beach. It was very nice to see but again, be ready for the shop keepers to push you into buying things. Our family had a wonderful holiday and the staff was absolutely amazing ! Lots of positives and negatives but the resort is lovely.

  A Once In A Lifetime Experience at Viva Tangerine (by Wyndham) - Cabarete, Dominican Republic

  We met Albert, while he was preparing our drinks at the bar. We was very approachable and friendly! As well as being easygoing and engaging in “humorous banter”. He went above and beyond, organizing soccer on the beach with some of the locals; after hearing that our daughter was involved in a competitive league. He planned this, on his day off. He, truly made this trip a memorable one. Not only for my daughter; but for us as well.

  Very nice

  I am the first time here in Viva Tangerine and I like it very much. I was before in Playa Dorada in a Hotel but I like it here more. Everything is perfect and everybody gives so much effort to make the people happy. The Animation is excellent. Lava, , Sombra, Francisca and Coco are doing a really really great job they are so kind and always smiling. I love it here and I wanna come back. In the night they have Karaoke, silent disco or shows and it’s ever time so much fun with them and everyone! The rock show is my favorite.

  Very pretty well keep grounds Second room was very good. Need some none smoking buildings Staff very good on the whole. Dinning staff excellent two in particular Patrica Mavie? .Beach was great. Kitchen staff could be better trained in art of carving meat.

  Amazing Entertainment and Incredible Dancers!

  I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything from the service to the facilities was excellent, but what truly made my experience special was the entertainment. The shows were incredible—full of energy, beautiful costumes, and fantastic music. I especially want to highlight the dancers, La Piry and Coconut—what incredibly talented performers! They danced with such passion and precision, making every show magical. Not only were they amazing artists, but also kind and wonderful people who took the time to engage with the guests. Thank you for an unforgettable experience—I will definitely be coming back!
