WE LOVE THE WESTIN COZUMEL! This is our 2nd stay here and we are already planning the 3rd! As a family of 4, there is something for everybody! Let's start with the snorkeling - AMAZING! Right off the pier is a whole other world where you can get lost for hours! We saw sting rays, jellyfish, so many different types of fish and more! You can spend all day out in that water! Next let's talk restaurants - do not be fooled by the limited restaurants! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are always spot on. Our favorite place to grab a bite is Gaviotas - the service there is unmatched! Carmen, Diana and Margarita are the best around and they always go above and beyond. You feel like family! Ladies, the Wilkerson Family loves you! Next - let's talk pools and the service you receive there. The pool is a calm place where you can still view the ocean and relax. The service there is also TOP NOTCH! Virginia is the greatest and she remembered our favorites right from the get go! Our cups were never empty and neither were our bellies! Thank you Virginia for being so wonderful! We will see you soon! If you are on the fence, jump off and go see the Westin, you will not regret it!

Great spa experience
Ruth gave me a wonderful massage and facial! It was so good I kept falling asleep… she was awesome! The staff is all very friendly and hospitable and I’d definitely do this again. I highly recommend the spa and I’d ask for Ruth.the spa experience with the saunas and cold plunge was great too and they give you the most delicious iced tea.

Nov 11, 2024Extra charged for paid all inclusive in reservation
Purchased all inclusive for our 6 night stay for our birthdays. When we got to the front desk to check in we were informed that our reservation #89229834 was only all inclusive for 1 person so they charged us 110 per day for the 2nd person, total $660. The reservation says 2 people and all inclusive and why would anyone book all inclusive for 1 when traveling as a couple? This is a terrible problem with the reservation system. We stayed hereat year as well with all inclusive and they didn't do that then.

Nov 09, 2024A Pleasant Stay, Despite Some Setbacks
We enjoyed our 5-night stay at The Westin Cozumel. Here are the pros & cons. PROS: Beautiful oceanfront location! Amazing turquoise waters. Every room features a full ocean view. Great restaurants within short distance. 2 restaurants on site. Close to Cozumel Airport You can snorkel from their beach. Staff was friendly. CONS: Not close to Downtown shops, restaurants and ferry port. Food was just so-so. 3.5 out of 5 overall. The best dining was at Cuzimil, which is open for dinner. Service was hit-and-miss. We had to make multiple requests just to get wash cloths. Room service repeatedly delivered coffee without any spoons. Our leftover food sat in the hallway all day. Our biggest challenge came when we were contacted by Guest Services Manager Javier Garcia, advising us that an additional charge of $132 would be added to our bill because my partner's hair dye left spots on their pillowcase. We'd never heard of such a thing. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, despite some setbacks. Nearby restaurants we'd recommend: The Original Lobster House Bucanos Hemingway

Stunning and relaxing!
We had an incredible stay at this resort! The breathtaking views, relaxed atmosphere, and outstanding food and drinks truly made this a memorable experience. The food exceeded our expectations for a resort—it was high quality and absolutely delicious. The views from our room were out of this world. We stayed on the highest floor and had stunning ocean views that made every morning and evening unforgettable. The location is unbeatable, with a stunning beach featuring crystal-clear water. Dining at the beautiful beachfront restaurant was a highlight of our trip. A special thank-you to Margarita, our favorite waitress, for her warmth and exceptional service—she went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. This resort is ideal for those seeking a peaceful and tranquil getaway. It’s very quiet, with no music, nightlife, or much entertainment. If relaxation is your goal, this is the perfect place. However, if you’re looking for more liveliness or activities, you might want to consider other options. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
