Spent Christmas week at the resort. The staff was all very friendly and the service was good. The rooms looked a little tired, but the bed was very comfortable and the linens were very nice. Housekeeping was excellent. Did not love the offerings at Mitra Market but the other restaurants were good. Finding chairs at the pool was easy- so nice not to have to rush out early to reserve chairs. We booked multiple excursions and airport transfers through Erik G. On the beach. Erik was easy to deal with and very helpful. All of our excursions were great. We went hiking in Rio Celeste National Park, La Leona waterfall, and did an ATV tour through Flamingo Beach.

Nice Visit to The Westin Conchal
The service was very good at the Westin. After some initial confusion with our room they sorted it out as best as possible. Restaurants were better than expected for an all-inclusive. Golf cart rides were readily available to always get where we needed to go. Beach is very close, while its public, the hotel staff accommodates with chairs. Erik G on the beach set up excursions for us. He is very reliable and communicative. Glad we used him for fishing and our tours. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Amazing stay! We were at the adults only section and loved that area of the resort. The food and drinks were fantastic. The wildlife is out of this world! We highly recommend Erik for excursions. He was very honest when our tour had to be shortened due to unexpected weather. He met us on the beach right away and gave us a refund for the time we didn’t get to spend on the boat. Overall we can’t wait to come back to this resort and area of Costa Rica!

Tremendous family vacation - a repeat for sure.
This resort was without question the best we have ever been to. Locale, cleanliness, beach, food, service - all top rate. The resort is beautiful, and the grounds crew are constantly working hard to keep it that way. Accommodations are spacious, airy, and clean. We tried most of the restaurants, and each meal was delicious with generous portions. The drink selection was good, no concerns there. The nearby beach was great, not pure white sand but crushed shell so good for the feet, and the waves were enjoyable for the whole family even young kids. The pool is huge, and so even with lots of people there over the December holidays it didn't feel crowded. I have read that some people didn't have as good an experience, but in all honesty I can't imagine what they are talking about, as out experience was pure A+ and we are already planning our return.

December at the Westin
This was our first time in Costa Rica and in this hotel, and my husband and I would definitely recommend it. We were able to book restaurants for the week on the Friday before we left through the app- super easy! The room was clean and spacious for the 2 of us, and the mini refrigerator was restocked daily. We enjoyed both pools, the beach, the shops, restaurants and bars. There is also a 24/7 shuttle service as the property is large so you can use this service as needed. We were able to book a full day waterfall/animal sanctuary/etc. tour via Erik G with the blue google shirt. Our guide Fernando was excellent and we would 100% percent recommend seeking them out. We would recommend everything we did on this trip and a stay at the Westin. 5 stars!
