Spacious and clean room with mini lanai near the bar. Loved the coffee machine and just hanging out near the pool. Good food and drinks at the Heyday. Super helpful and friendly staff. Valet parking a bit pricy, but relieved us of searching for parking. Valets friendly, with good tips on dining. One downside was no on-site breakfast, but we found great places in Waikiki, and it got us out and about. Only other thing is if somebody is fussy about noise, the music at the poolside bar goes til 10 pm, and there was some worker/construction noise. Didn't bother me, but might some.

Great pool and staff but the pest problem in our room was out of control. I know this is common for hawaii but this place was a bit out of control. If you like cockroaches in your bed and crawling around everywhere day and night this is your place.

Fantastic Vibe!
You'll find a great vibe in this updated yet retro hotel, especially in the lobby, pool, and bar area. Food was really good and convenient. We also appreciated the tips on extra activities. We signed up for the early morning coffee cruise and loved the experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd stay there again!

We’ll definitely be back to visit Hawaii and White Sands Hotel again—such a great location!
Our first family cruise trip to Hawaii was an unforgettable experience! It was recommended that we arrive two days early before boarding, and we were so lucky to have found this gem—White Sands Hotel. The staff was wonderful—always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, and I loved the location, as it was within walking distance of the beach and the International Market. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel and soak in the atmosphere before our cruise. On the bright side, we’ll definitely be back to visit Hawaii—and stay at White Sands Hotel again in the future!

An oasis in busy Waikiki…
We loved White Sands…a little oasis in the middle of busy Waikiki! The staff was super friendly, the bar area was inviting and the food was great! The hotel is funky with the rooms set up with furniture and artwork from the 50’s and 60’s. There was live music many of the nights we were there.
